After the chaos off the MocAthalon I finally am back to something I enjoy building: futuristic military. The main picture is done by me, it is my own editing. This mech suit has a great name to it, but for censoring issues you'll have to look at the Flickr set for the official name. Enjoy!
The IAM-200 (Infantry Assault Mech) is the standard mech used by the United Republic of North America (URNA) during WW3. After being bombed by the newly reformed Nazi regime of Germany, the USA needed to ally with the other countries. They joined Canada and Mexico, and with aid from South America, formed the URNA. They are currently patrolling the German cities that were bombed in retalliation. WW3 is coming to a close, and this mech walks through the ruins of Berlin (main picture).
Loadout (Standard): Wrist Blades, Standard Issue Pulse Rifle
Detatchable Missle Pod (2 rockets)
Detatchable Heavy Pulse Cannon
TO THE MOC!
The stereotypical picture of any mecha/mech suit that is needed. Lighting that compliments the mech, and also gives it quite a badass look to it!
The IAM-200 running into battle. I love the posing that I can give the mech suit, everything just works.

This mech has wrist blades! I've seen this parts usage used before as a bayonet, and thought about how it would look on a mech. It works well!
The IAM-200 has various attachments to engage the enemy in battle. Shown first is the Long-Range Heavy Pulse Cannon. Capable of firing slugs at up to 1000 mph at a maximum range of 500 meters, this cannon makes any long range attack seem ineffective when compared to this.
Here we have another pic with the LRHPC. Shown here is the optional missle pod, which includes 2 Sonic Charges. They are commonly used for a heavy loadout mech suit, and not for much else.
The weapons/attachments. LRHPC on the left, Standard-Issue small Pulse Rifle in middle, and detachable Missle Pod on the right.
Very well done, I'd also like to see some more action shots and some more of that posability you mentioned. Another thing is maybe give it some more guns, the gun is has is amazing, but I think a wider range of holdable weapons would complete the "soldier" look it has.
Simple problem - when I hear "suit", I think of a minifig sized armour, which is a very hard thing to do, but if done correctly, it's a very good thing to do. And if you are attempting a larger scale, make an armour that fits a whole minifigure and moves with its limbs. Hard, but the effect is good. Seeing how well this is made, you should really try something more challenging.
I like it

Well built and very well photographed. This is a complex MOC, but your photos illustrate the details quite well. Showing it in a wider range of poses would have been nice (as you mention pose-ability in your text). The attachments are slightly underdeveloped compared to the rest of the suit. The shoulder mounted gun seems a bit rushed. I think you can do a lot more with this concept. And as always, I would love to see this in a setting (like a vig). Photoshop is nice, but Lego is better. Attack!
Man I don't have anyhting to critisize! It's epic I'm loving the way you made the feet. the gun would also make a decent SMG for a small mecha like this http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/311514
the wrist swords are also insanely remarkable. The legs are a bit close together and a bit skiney. I guess a bit of bulk could be added. Just the bulk that's all I have to say as critisizm besides that its amazing. I'm loving the base and still suprised that I didn't come up with those feet first. I'm into small feet too. I'm 5' 9" and wearing shoes that are 7s. So small feet are awesome. I really hope you win.
Very cool! nice one! I like the body design, BTW my older sister is trying to annoy me again, and was looking over my shoulder. At one point, you wrote "everuthing just works." insted of 'everything just works'. She wanted you to know XP anyway, good luck in the contest :D
Well, I made an image, keep in mind that it is meant to be reminiscent of a Propaganda Poster, so it's nothing crazy. It's up on my Page. Also, if I had any advice to give for this, I would suggest that you should widen the torso, to give the proportions a more masculine look.
