About this creation
Galactica: Near Ragnar Orbit

Tactical Briefing Room, Galactica
Senior Staff meeting with Parrington Levopolis and Chrissy Phipson

Nempec: "Mr. Levopolis, Ms. Phipson, I called this meeting to review your captivity with the Athenians. You say there were two phases to their approach?"

Levopolis: "Yes, Commander, there was the initial interrogation immediately after my abduction, then a more unconventional technique that was ultimately interrupted by my rescue."

Levopolis: "Although I am not certain of what they were after, I do have some memories of my childhood that were suddenly quite vivid."

Levopolis: "I believe that they were somehow able to access specific memories, no different than looking for files in a computer."

Dr. Korund: "There were some unfamiliar substances in your blood work. They could be related to psychotropic drugs used in the past, by the military mostly."

Levopolis: "I also had an encounter with an entity who called himself Poseidon. However, I do not think it had anything to do with my captors and their plans."

Mav: "What did this Poseidon have to say?"

Levopolis: "He spoke in circles, about important decisions that would need to be made, fate of the world, and all that. Nothing specific..."

Nempec: "Maybe after some time, more things will be lodged from your memory."

King: "It sounds like you had a lot going on while you were there. What were they like?"

Levopolis: "They were somewhat different from the Cylons, and after a time, more personable. There was also a sense of urgency with their tasks."

Phipson: Well, I'm just glad your back here with us, not being poked and prodded by some alien robots.

Phipson: "It's clear to me that it wasn't a random abduction, either, that something in Mr. Levopolis' past interested these Athenians, something significant. This whole struggle here in the Colonies, he may be the key to it all."

Later that evening.
Pilots Briefing Room

Strummer (over speakers): "Frak, I’m hit!!"

Explosion.

Kuo: "Oh, you’re back in here, I see..."

Mav: "You know..."
Strummer: "Frak! I’m hit!"
Explosion

Kuo: "See anything helpful?"

Mav: "No, not really, just making sure."

Kuo: "He's not the first pilot you've lost, and certainly not the last."

Mav: "That's not it so much. I wasn't in the air with them. We just jumped out of there. I was hoping the gun camera footage would convince me his ship exploded. I wanted to see it with my own eyes."

Kuo: "Well, we're having the launch soon, Nempec thought we should give it another test."

Hangar Deck
Stealth Viper Test
Pilot, LT Sy Spencer, call sign Digger.

Crewman: "Okay, LT, you’re all set."

Digger: "Thanks, Specialist."

Digger: "Just takin' a trip around the block!"

LT Bryant, call sign Die Hard: "Wicked!"

LT Bryant: "How come HE gets to test the Stealth Viper?"
LT Creatori, call sign Topsy: "Maybe he doesn't keep missing the trap!"

Launch Control Officer: "Nav-con green!"
Digger: "Punch it!"

Launch tube doors new for this episode? Cool!

Yes, a new rig. On top of boxes in front of the shelf where the hangar is. Should have thought to do the shoot with a red&white Viper. Actually getting ready to that soon. |

I´m such a lazy arse guy... Should have commented a lot earlier. Sorry for that, but there´s some stuff flying around my head that really keeps me buisy! Once again, excellent episode. Really liked the lighting in the 'Pilots Briefing Room', when the Viper explodes and Mav´s face becomes brighter. Just a little, but very decent looking detail. Like the launch tube door hydraulics, too. You know, every time you release a new episode, I sit back, relax and enjoy the great show. ~Cheers P.S.: Even though I´m mostly buisy, I still use my LEGOs. So good for some relaxing... Modified my BSG 'Legend Class' frigate. Now she looks like she had a collision with one of Parrington´s ships. But it looks awesome, imo!
Thanks again, Dude! So, a BSG/GAIA blend, eh? Looking forward to seeing that one! |

CONGRATULATIONS thank you for another EXCELLENT EPISODE..
I reworked the original launch tube set, and added a door. Along with a new track light for the hangar deck, I rigged the whole thing up as you see it, no photo editing at all. I wanted that lighting contrast between the two sets, especially with the black Viper. Thanks again, Garry! |

As much as I like the stop motion idea, too, I'm afraid quitting one job wouldn't be enough, hahaha. --- In this episode I specifically love the scene in the almost empty briefing room. Perfect timing and atmosphere - it was like watching a movie.
I agree, I'd probably need an entire team! Getting the lighting in that briefing room was a challenge, it needed to be dark, but the camera didn't want to focus. But hey, it's digital, take as many pics as you need, right? Thanks again for the great comment, Dude! |

No one wants to be poked and proded by alien robots. Do they? So what's the deal with the stealth Viper? Only Spock can track it, or not even? Cute one with the hangar door hydraulics.
I would say it depends on the nature and disposition of the alien robots... As far as the Viper goes, Data might be able to track it with an inverted tachyon beam, but fortunately he isn't on this show. Thanks, Dude! |

It almost slipped by me, but clued in at the end. Good one! |

Outstanding as ever, story and build. Love the stealth viper, in fact the whole launch sequence is just great - your attention to detail such as the launch tube doors closing is perfect. Great photography and editing too, this just gets better and better!
Thanks for the enthusiastic comment! I rigged up the launch tube in front of the Hangar deck just for this sequence. Much easier than trying to edit the photos. |

Another great episode! Can't wait to see where it's all headed!
Thanks, Dude! Like your call sign? A little dental lab humor there... |
