Emergency Evac Vehicle
Remake of the 1998 Res-Q Set!
About this creation
This is my baby. It is a remake of the 1998 Res-Q Emergency Evac set #6445.

I remade the set into a more modern one a few months back, unfortunately I have no pictures of it. Last week I decided to remake it once again and this was the result. The Designation is SAR-EE(Or EEV) it stands for Search And Rescue - Emergency Evac Vehicle. Unit 6445 is called for heavy duty rescue operations and it is truly versatile. It still preserves the original set's idea of a rescue vehicle able to operate independently from others so it still has a EMT Unit built-in.

The new EEV is... a little bigger than the original. Actually it dwarfs it. To contrast, the original EEV was 4x12 studs, the new one is 8x20 studs and it is taller. I had sort of a "Command Vehicle" in mind but it did not work out. I also only have one Res-Q guy (care to donate?). I used almost all the pieces from the original set somewhere in the build. Actually if you notice, the new trailer has the rear assembly of the original EEV. How 'bout them apples?

Here is the Truck with it's communications hardware deployed:

It has internal storage similar to my Equipment Firetruck. Note the new Res-Q Uniform:

Rear-angle view in mobile mode (Comm systems down):

John shows us the right-side storages. (He's camera-shy I had to bribe him)

Like I mentioned, there is still space for stretcher, or maybe a small command module (future?). You can see all the way to the front from the back door!

Equipment shot (Just the truck, that is...) (psst. John look at the camera!):

Here are the new two trailers. I found my raft after I had made the first trailer and just decided to make a second one instead of a bigger one:

This is the raft from the W.E.T. trailer (LOL). "Water Equipment Trailer"

This is the new equipment trailer or ET. Notice the rear of the original EEV from '98?

Last Shot:

See all 29 photos at the brick shelf gallery. Thank you, guys!

I actually found MOC pages through picture of this cool truck on the internet. I liked it very much then and I like it very much now, it's one of those perfect minifig sized trucks. Legendary creation mate :)

This is alright. Like your other sets this looks like a set that we should be able to buy. Like its usefulness as a Res-Q truck.
