This MOC is my Fire Dept.'s Water Tanker/Pump Vehicle (WTV). It is modified from the hydraulic lift found in the LEGOŽ Firestation set #7945. This unit was entirely stripped of it's lift, once again because I don't have high buildings to reach. I know the rear-view mirrors don't match, I ordered the correct colors and they're in the mail.
The WTV is a specialized water tender. It has little space to carry equipment or crew (May change soon). The FRT Pickup truck or the EUV are first on the scene, the tender is called in to fight the bigger fires.
It features 5 pumps for fire-fighting. 3 are already occupied. On both sides there are hoses already connected and ready to go. Also, on top of the vehicle there is a robotic water gun that can assist the firefighters. On both sides of the vehicle, towards the rear, there are two connection points for additional hoses.
We'll let Steve show us the WTV:
Nevermind, I think he's just going to slack off in the corner while everyone else does all the work. You can see the deployable traffic warning lights come up in the back of the truck:
No more Kool-Aid for you little man. Here is a better view of the light system. It tucks away nicely when the WTV is in motion:
For those who have heard of it, all my emergency vehicles are inspired by the Real-time strategy PC game called Emergency. All versions of it, specially the fourth. Also the work of some brickeneers has spiked my i-m-a-g-i-n-a-t-i-o-n.
