Full-size 1:1 scale LEGO model of a 1980 Yamaha A-55N Electone Organ using approximately 15000 bricks with features including moving keys and pedals.
About this creation
This is a full-size 1:1 scale LEGO model of a 1980 Yamaha A-55N Electone Organ, the first organ we ever owned, built using the excellent LDraw free suite of tools, using MLCad to build the model, LDView to generate regular views, and POV-Ray to generate the higher quality ray-traced views. All parts used are standard LEGO parts attached in the correct fashion, albeit possibly in a colour that part was never produced in.
The organ features include:
Upper & lower 3-octave keyboard manuals
1-octave bass pedals
Actionable spring-loaded keys and pedals (using shock absorbers)
Actionable hinged expression pedal
Moving hinged lever switches on upper manual
Tiltable hinged music rest
Tiltable top & racks for service access
These last two images show the "service mode" where the racks tilt up to reveal the underside of the keyboard assemblies and the circuit boards.

I wish you could get to meet Sean Kenney in person, he needs to be made aware of your work! You have made a fan of me! Please come and see my "LEGO Style" stuff!
Thanks for all your comments and ratings. I don't have the artistic talent of someone like Sean. I have the technical skills most people don't, so I'm putting them to good use the only way I can. But I don't think many people are that interested in digital MOCs. If I were building these for real it would be a different story...
