I felt like building a new Wasteland Scavenger. So I did!:)
About this creation
Data pods were scattered across the island when the shock wave destroyed the archive. These pods can contain information about anything from locations of hidden ancient relics, to recipes for Manas stew. On rare occasions, they can even hold blueprints for weapons. Those weapons can come in handy when traveling around post-disaster Zola Island.
Like all other Wasteland Scavengers, This one has used deceased Matorans to upgrade his abilities. Each of his eyes sees in a different spectrum.
Most Wasteland Scavengers carry staffs but there are a few roaming around the island that don't.
This Scavenger is different from most. Almost all Scavengers have some form of communication antennae on their backs. This one doesn't. But why?
Researchers have a theory. When the shock wave hit the island, it wiped out most of the regions of the island. On the furthest part of the island was the Lezola region. They where the technology specialists of the island. Because that region was so far from the initial impact zone it wasn't completely destroyed and the number of survivors was much higher than any other region. Therefore, any Scavengers that have the communication antennae are (in theory) from Lezola.
This Scavenger is probably one of the few survivors from another region of the island. He is likely from the mining region, Onozola because he has three vertically oriented eyes that where commonly used in the mines there. Although, Wasteland Scavengers modify themselves with the parts of deceased Matoran, he may have taken those eyes off a dead Onozolian. So, it is nearly impossible to pinpoint his home region.
I'm quite happy with the way this one turned out! It's a lot creepier looking than the first two Wasteland Scavengers that I've built. This just might be the way I do them from now on.
Speechless. Ok, maybe not. It is so creepy, but that adds to the intricacy of it. The most beautiful part of it is that it is so spindly and yet it still can stand up on it's own. This might be the most beautiful build I have seen. Look at it in all it's spindly glory!!!
Very well made! You totally nailed the wasteland look :) I love that you haven't overdone the other colours, which so many do and in turn they ruin their MOC, the subtle other colours you used are perfect, nice work ;)
I'm loving the decrepit skeletal look to this creation. felt very spooky and that it belongs in a wasteland.
I like it

Really cool and creepy looking, the thin, long fingers also add creepiness which completes the overal effect :)

Lots of mood in this build. He's like a muppet or a cartoon guy. Lots of black, but very well photographed. I love the hands! I would love to see this nasty guy grabbing people out of a building in a dio! Attack!
Now that's pretty! Pretty ugly, I mean. Which, in your case, is a good thing! I love the way he's dripping with ropes and chain and spiky things. The back story is pretty neat - is that from a sci-fi book or series, or your imagination?
