This is (I think) the first MOC of a Y-tie. This heavy fighter is canon with all the positive aspects of both ships, but the negative aspects of being hand built. Hope you enjoy! the astromech name is R2-C2 or as my space pirate calls him skipper. If you notice, Skipper has a R2-D2 dome and since I want this droid to be a unique but I only have one R2 unit Dome and the rest are either the new R5s or the old R5s, thankfully I have a friend who is always ready to trade. (Oh the pains of hoarding.)
About this creation
as you can see I had a couple design flaws, but it look ended up well.

Have you noticed Lego always gets the ion canon wrong? Well I tried to make a good onebut I will let the crowd decide.

Here is my beloved droid, Skipper in his little socket there.

Well that is actually what the pirates did during the galactic civil war.

Y-tie? Y-not? haha It looks like something a jedi would put together when he crashed his y-wing.
