LV-3 "Riptide" Urban Assault Vehicle
Because having four wheels is too mainstream.
About this creation
The LV-3 Riptide is a two-wheeled Light Urban Assault and Scouting Vehicle with a focus on speed and hit-and-run tactics. Because of their light weight and incredible rapidity, Riptides are often used by officers as fast personal transportation in addition to their intended use. Although not capable of flight by any means, the Riptide can increase the duration and slow the descent of jumps off tall structures or ramps through use of its two Avenger dual-purpose turbine engines.

DESIGNER'S NOTES:

I never really got around to posting my finished version on the LUCL, so I figured I'd put it here. As you can see, I've finally started using some of Photoshop Elements' most basic features like changing background color (Visible translucent bricks FTW! Plain and boring dark gray!) adding text (No more Walls O' Text for you! Extra flavor!), and cropping (Smexy high-res images! Less downsizing!). And yes, I know, "it needs an extra color to like, break it up more or something! I can't see anything!" But that is the point, my good man. That is the point.

All right, thanks!

Quoting CBMC Chunkblaster simply put, 6/5. Excellent work. Permission to attempt to recreate this in gmod?
Permission granted. And thank you! By the way, if you do remake this in GMod, would you mind taking a screenshot and posting the link (assuming that you have Steam)? I'd be interested to see how it turns out.

Quoting ariklego ...The Director! this is stinkin' AWESOME! excellent work! mounting turbines and rotary cannons on a military-use motorcycle? probably would never have thought of that myself!
Why, thank you! The first version of this (Made of REAL BRICKS and with a RED COCKPIT! =O The horrors!) is actually the second thing I posted on the CL. I made an LDD version later with way more translucent pieces than this one (Including the cockpit. Bleh.), then later recolored (but never posted) it. I guess I drew inspiration from Light Cycles? Maybe? But I honestly have no idea where I pulled the engines idea from.

I still like two wheels better. =P And yes, I have deconstructed the Riptide to check out it's anatomy and never even noticed that it could hinge.

Quoting Bug 2.0. Nice and you're right, four wheels are very cliche. Has the front end always pivoted? I never noticed until demonstrated.
The front end on the LDD Riptide has always done it, but I just never showcased it before now except in my all-but-abandoned story. It's not easy to notice if you don't tear the model apart, but then, that's probably the way it should be. Btw, I don't actually think there's anything wrong with 4 wheels, I was just making fun of the notorious mainstream-rebuking "Hipsters."
