The guns used by the character Yuna in the game Final Fantasy X-2.
About this creation
This is a life-size replica of the guns, called "Tiny Bees," used by the character Yuna (Gunner Dress Sphere) in the PS2 game Final Fantasy X-2. This is the first model that I have made where I had to order new parts from Bricklink.com (for an extra gray 1X4 arch and a 1X1 Yellow Technic brick).
I built this for an anime convention that I attended, called ACen, along with another Final Fantasy X-2 weapon, which is Paine's Sword . I made the Tiny Bees for a cosplaying friend. The guns, however, were mishandled and they exploded in my friend's hands while walking. So, out of fear of losing pieces, we both decided to keep the guns in the hotel.
This gun was somewhat hard to make, because the different reference pictures that I used (illustration, pre-rendered cutscene, in-game model, and a plastic toy replica, all shown below) all made the guns look different from one another. So, I decided to make a happy medium between all of my reference pictures. This is the result.
Unlike my SOCOM Pistol , which these guns share design elements from, there are few extra details or moving parts. The only moving part on the gun is the trigger. I decided to design more for structural integrity than for extra features, since these guns would be carried for three straight days at the convention. As for all of my other creations, no glue was used.
The weird-looking hammer was the first thing I made on the gun, and is one of the most recognizable features on the weapon. The bottom of the end of the gun's barrel is made using upside-down SNOT. The circular barrel looks more realistic (of course), and allows for the faux-flaring to be inserted for ACTION POSES!!!
I may make instructions for these if they are asked for. Thanks for looking, and be sure to check out Paine's Sword.
In response to Kavon Z, I believe that the site administrator deleted my reference pictures from the roster due to the picture of a scantily-clad Yuna. So, just check out my Brickshelf folder for the reference pictures, since I don't want to provoke anyone by trying to post them again.
Dual Tiny Bees
Both guns together, in parallel.
Two Tiny Bees, crossed.
Both guns together in a fabulous position.
An individual Tiny Bee handgun.
The Tiny Bee, "firing."
Despite sharing design elements with their older cousin, the Mk23 SOCOM Pistol, the Tiny Bees are, in their own ways, radically different.
The moving trigger.
The gun barrel. Notice the lower portion is made using upside-down SNOT technique.
These are amazing guns. Compared to the others online this is the only one that caught my eye. I know people may ask you all the time but would I be able get the instructions from you. My friend and I are big FF fans and I want to surprise him the next time he vists. We're both over 14. My email, and this if you want to, is firstname.lastname@example.org
I am hoping you can. Thanks.

These guns are incredible! The handle is great and I love the two arches making up the hole on the tip. Plus there's two of them! I remember you talking about these from the forum. Well, good to see they turned out great!
Man, this is an amazing replica of the Tiny Bees, right down to the last detail. I particularly like the SNOTty barrel and the spoke-type things on the back. Keep up the awesome FF Stuff. Wort
