It's still pretty small (40 studs) But I'm glad I could make it minifig scale. My grey slopes helped a lot! So that's pretty much all the boring things nobody cares about, so let's start with pictures.
Here is a couple of cleaner pictures without waves and people.
Here is the crew.
ok here is the link: to your prize for being that awesome: http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/29138/1338732753m_SPLASH.jpg
I really hope you enjoyed, and constructive criticism is welcome!
This boat is great. It's a really odd combination of complexity and simplicity. With all the SNOT and other techniques you combined, you capture a really clean elegant shape. I would love to see more small details (ropes, barrels, tools on the deck) but the boat itself is really cool. The crew is also well chosen. Attack!
Excellent ship! The snot is well done and it allows for a great shape. The grey, black, and brown color scheme is sharp and unique. Great crew as well. The deck looks a little bare. Maybe you could add some more supplies or equipment. Congratulations on your first minifig scale ship.
Wow. Great job. You really dont see ships this size. Most people build giants. I like how its for a group of pirates instead of like a 100. Oh and would someone tell the tuff guy to put on a shirt... >.> lol cool build. ~cheers
