The Wolverine N
The next step in the evolution of the Wolverine series fighter.
About this creation
After the success with the Wolverine CR rebuild, the G variant worked out very well for its purpose. Still, there needed to be a Wolverine with some serious firepower, and thats where the Wolverine N comes in. The N incorperates the new foldout wings, and the original T shaped tail, but the old usesless engines were removed. What littlew equpiment that was still needed from them was moved to the front of the ship, and so the nose had to be lengthened. To add some real firepower to the ship, two brand new weapons were added. The first of which, is the Neutron Ray, a more accurate gun version of the Neutron Wave Rocket, but its a little less powerfull. The other new weapon is the XIP cannon, of which there are four mounted on the tip of each wing. XIP (pronounced zip) stands for Xenon Infused Projectile. It proves to be a medium power, fast firing weapon, built for creating a bright flash on impact that breifly melts the enemy's ship where it hits, weakening its structural integrety at the blast site.

The profile is a little longer, but its less wide.

Wings folded out. See? No old style engines!

Wings folded in. It has the full compliment of four nose-mounted cannon(by that, I mean a high power machine gun)

The pilots equipment hatch. Look a the insignia... now where have you seen THAT before?

And thats the capacitor for the Neutron Ray.

The best view of the Neutron Ray, I think.

And the Neutron Ray up close. They resemble a little drawing of a stick figure weapon.

Excellent MOC. It looks like a combination of an X-wing and one of those old airport sets.

I like the little details such as the "Neutron Ray", although the overall shape I still think looked best on the G. Overall, I think you've made a great series and I look forward to the continuation. If you have time, can you check out and review my new Presiden't Home? It's one of the newest creations...
