Hello, I'm Advid Forst - your host for 'Through the Wormhole'!
About this creation
Welcome again to 'Through the Wormhole', the show where we journey through time and space to ask you the question - Who would live in a house like this? Today we've travelled to ancient Earth, the original homeworld of the human race, and behind me is the house in question. It's a fairly simple structure of rough stone walls with a roof built from wooden beams with the gaps plugged with mud.
No phase generators, holo-vision or sonic showers here folks! However, we have brought out a few of the inhabitant's home comforts to give you a clue as to their identity. There's a human skull preserved in cedar oil, a revered ancestor if I'm not much mistaken, assorted weaponry, a helmet of Roman design, and a bowl of sticky blue pigment.
You may have gathered from these that our mystery guest is a touch on the aggressive side, so we've placed them in a stasis pod for the duration of the show. This also helps avoid those embarassing and legally awkward changing history incidents like we had in ancient Egypt last season. Of course, we've blanked out the contents of the pod so as not to give the game away!
Well, I think that's enough clues to be going on with - so it's over to you, the viewers, to call in with your answers: 'Who would live in a house like this?'
Fourth Wall: This was a fun little build, mainly aiming to try some circular building techniques. It's also, in case you aren't from the UK, a tribute to a long running celebrity gamehow called 'Through the Keyhole'. First comment with the correct answer gets to feel smug!
