About this creation
This is a model of a Kenworth t-800 day cab flat bed with a liftable tag axle, cab suspension, rear tandem bogie suspension, and ackermann sterring geometry.
The tag axle is regular solid axle suspension but, how it's lifted is a worm gear contactacts the gear inside the recangular piece with holes in it and the afformentioned piece also doubles as the shock mount and you turn a shaft in front of the bed to turn the worm gear which turns the other gear which moves the shock mounts and lifts the shocks up.

Nice T-800. The tag axle is very good. I like how it actually has suspension on it.
Yes, the tag axle works very well and so does the suspension. If you have ever studied a tag axle on a real semi truck of any type, you will find that how one works is there is basicly regular air ride solid axle suspension and an air bag that goes between a mount on the frame one each side and it pushes against an L shaped beam when inflated to lift the axle and the actual suspension air bag deflates.
