At last, Kalm City has a worthy castle. It is fully playable. Hope you like it!
About this creation

The cost to get this done was that I had to tear apart the city walls, it's getting too big to have walls all around. For the first time in life I saw myself with a lot of grey available. It's my first big castle.

The front, with lifting gate.

The back.

West side.

East side.

It opens in half to reveal the interior.

And then again, each half separates in half. It divides itself like a pizza, cut in four equal parts. Fully playable :)

This means we can choose two or three «slices» to get interior pics, or only one for close-ups inside. Great for storytelling. Let's visit the palace by floors.

The ground floor is the dining room. It features a box, a chest, a closet, a dinner table and a chandelier.

The access to the next floor is made by a stairwell.

The second floor is the throne room.

It has two thrones, two side tables, red curtains, a bookshelf and regular stairs leading to next floor.

For the third floor we have to get a different «slice» combination, pairing them up in the only other possible way.

The acess from below leads to a hall, where people can admire the view over the city.

This floor is also where the treasure room is located, safely locked behind a door.

A view of the door from «inside» the treasure room.

Lots of gold and relics in here. «Arrr, 'me shiny 'trrreashaaaa!»

An outer view of the third floor.

The access to the next floor is through a ladder.

The fourth floor features a balcony covered with vegetation on the sides. It offers a wide view over the kingdom.

It leads to the royal balcony, where the king makes his speeches.

Those vitrals are something I was longing to use. They give a nice touch to the «living» area.

Once again, the access above is through a ladder.

The fifth floor holds the sleeping quarters.

It has a regular stone stairset to climb upstairs.

The top tower is usually a watchpost for a sentinel, but the queen loves to read her book up there from time to time.

Below the ground floor there are caves.

There are rats lurking around, and also spiders, bats and other living creatures.

There are bones and skeletons down there, and snakes, too.

The courtyard, backside.

West side of the courtyard.

Since my workshop is already set up for photographing (and not building), I might as well try out some city pics with the new castle.

The tournament arena still has to be modified, it's completely as it came in the set.

The harbour area and the fields with the barns are works in progress as well, as are many buildings yet.

Thank you for watching, I hope it was worth your time :)

This looks pretty good, if a bit boxy in some places. The modularity is a nice touch, making something playable like that while it still looks good is quite a challenge.
