“He said that I might wish I was never born. He said that I will go through countless hardships. He was right. But I did as he said. I never gave up…”
Title(s): The Black Lightning Bolt, King of the Rozacka
Element: Black Lightning
Occupation: Ruling the Rozacka
Personality: Regal, kingly, and heroic.
Bio: Eldignar’s parents were killed right in front of his eyes when he was thirteen years old. He was very valiant in trying to defend them using his lightning powers, (which were extremely strong for his age and inexperience) but the unknown assailant was far too strong, and defeated Eldignar with one blast of magical energy.
The next few moments were a blur to Eldignar, as he passed in and out of consciousness. All he could remember of that short timeframe were quick images of his parents being brutally murdered by a figure wreathed in flames. The flames were slowly spreading to the walls of the house, lighting it on fire. Now finished with killing his parents, the murderer moved to Eldignar. As he came closer, Eldignar slowly regained his consciousness, and saw that he was no longer covered in flames. Eldignar realized that he could not move, and guessed that the magical blast was only meant to stun him, and not to kill him.
He felt himself being picked up off the ground by a thick, scaly hand and soon found himself staring into the eyes of what he thought was the Devil himself. It spoke to him in a voice so evil and terrifying that he began trembling and crying uncontrollably. “I am going to let you live,” said the Devil. “You are going to do many important things in the future, and I cannot risk stopping those events from happening.” He continued, “But know this, you will never be the same after tonight. At times you may wish you were never born, but you must fight on, and stay steadfast no matter what your miserable life throws at you.” And at that, Eldignar felt a sharp pain all throughout his body, and blacked out.
He woke up in the charred remains of his house, bewildered and scared out of his mind. He tried to get up, but the pain was too much, and lay back down. He thought of his dead parents and wept for a long time over their loss. Eventually, the pain subsided, and he got up, and made his way towards the nearest Rozackan city. This was a long, painful walk for him, for he lived miles away from the city, but he got there eventually. A guard met him at the gate, and Eldignar collapsed in his arms. He managed to say a few words before he blacked out: “Family… Dead… Fire…”
When Eldignar woke up this time, he was in a completely different situation. He was in a soft bed, surrounded by doctors. They said it was a miracle he was still alive, considering all the burns he had acquired on his body. They also said they had found a huge amount of dark energy in his blood stream, which was slowly corrupting his body. They managed to remove it, but not before it… changed him.
His body was turned completely black, and he could not use his lightning powers any more. The doctors could not explain how he was infused with the dark energy, but Eldignar knew why. He chose to keep the reason to himself though. Apparently, everyone thought that his parents were simply killed by the fire in the house. From the hospital, Eldignar was moved to an orphanage, where he stayed for three long years, still with no use of his lightning powers. One night though, he could take no more. He snuck out of the city with a few supplies at the age of sixteen, and wandered around for awhile. Eventually, he met someone who would change his life.
An old Rozackan man who was living alone in a small hut invited him into his house to restock on supplies, for a price of course. Eldignar soon learned his name was G’uthar, the former king of the Rozacka, and the one who had defeated the mighty Atlas. Eldignar felt unusually honest around G’uthar, and told him his whole story, hiding nothing. When G’uthar learned that Eldignar could not use his elemental powers, he vowed to help him get them back. They trained, meditated, and worked together for months, and eventually, G’uthar said that Eldignar was ready for the final step in regaining his powers.
It was a dark night, and a thunderstorm was brewing. G’uthar had Eldignar stand on the top of his hut and hold a spear that he had made for him above his head. A lightning bolt almost immediately arced out of a cloud overhead, and hit the spear directly on the head. The lightning surged down the staff, directly into Eldignar. Not knowing what else to do, Eldignar tucked himself into a ball, the power still flowing through him. Then, he realized that all that pent up energy would eventually destroy him, so, with a tremendous effort, [The electricity was causing his muscles to clench, making it hard to move his body.] he spread his whole body out wide, and he felt the lightning shoot out of his palms. When he looked at it though, it was not the lightning he had expected. It was black as the night around it, and it emitted an eerie black glow.
He stepped down from the roof, and tried to use his powers again. To his absolute delight, the black lightning flowed from his fingertips with ease, and destroyed a large rock that was in his way. Feeling energized, he instinctively looked up at the storm and commanded it to stop. Surprisingly, it stopped! The storm itself had done his bidding. Eldignar had only heard of Rozacka with Tvaren that were able to do that. Eldignar had become the most powerful lightning Rozacka ever. He left G’uthar with such a grateful attitude that he hardly knew what to do with himself. Before he left though, G’uthar told him this:
“The Rozackan King who dethroned me is an evil tyrant, who rules his people with an iron fist. You and your family probably never knew of his tyranny because of your seclusion from most of society. Someone is going to have to stop him eventually. I think that person may be you, Eldignar.” And so, with this advice, Eldignar left for the Rozackan capital city, to bring down the dictator king. Eldignar still had no idea how powerful he really was though.
As he reached the capitol, he challenged the king to a duel. When he saw the king though, he began to have second thoughts. The king, whose name he later learned was Belurn, was a massive Rozacka, who possessed a pair of Tvaren. Eldignar soon learned that he was a fire elemental, for no sooner had the duel started than he threw a tremendous fireball at Eldignar. Eldignar, not knowing what else to do shot a lightning bolt straight into the middle of the fireball. In a magnificent display of elemental power, the black lightning bolt shot directly through the fireball, causing it to dissipate, and hit the king square in the chest. The lightning went rippling throughout the king’s whole body, killing him instantly.
From then on, Eldignar, the homeless orphan boy, became the king.
Well, whoever read that whole story deserves a medal or something, cuz that was pretty darn long!
These are just some shots of Eldignar capeless.
Probably the most epic duo shot ever.
All three kings of all three races.
PLEASE READ THE STORY, AND TELL ME IF YOU LIKED IT!
This story is amazing on You-tube my story for Xous was not saved but this story reminds allot of Xous's well not really but it is a good story and the build of this M.O.C. is amazing most people would either look at the pictures or just read the story but doing both I say this is a 5 star M.O.C. and story!!! Bravo
The build is amazingly suited to a more medieval/fantastical setting - which he has! I live the robed look and the slenderness of his limbs. He looks very much like I would imagine Nivorn (the shadowlord) to look.
Wow, dude! Really cool. The story was great, by the way. Very few Typos, and mostly just grammatical ones (I admit, I'm a stickler for grammar). I have always really like that mask/head and it works really well with this guy. I gotta say, though, I'm not too crazy about the feet. They look a little dissproportionate to me. IDK, maybe I'm oversensitive to stuff like that.
This MOC is great! My favourite parts are head and that awesome torso, though all the MOC is epic. About the story, i really like it, but to me, it seems a bit topic, the poor guy who became the might and noble leader. Though I have written a lot of similar stories (Koraune for example), so may I shouldn't say nothing... Anyway, I think you should make a comic, fanfic or video story, now that summer is coming. Try it! I promise I'll follow it! =D
