Hi! This is my LEGO version of the Atomium (Brussels, made for the World's Fair in 1958). The scene contains 2737 pieces.
Ok, there are some "inconvenients" to this model:
-I only made a CAD design of the whole model, only the sphere was built with real bricks, therefore there may be parts that are impossible to build out of bricks (although i doubt it)
- I 'cheated' on one place, the stairs on the 3 supports (support the 3 downmost spheres), they float in the air, and are inside other bricks. I hope to correct it as soon as possible.
- As you can see the supports are not quite symmetric (their placement on the ground). This is because I work with Leocad and if I start to rotate multiple parts they will fall apart (strange)
- I would have also liked to put people, cars, trees in the scene, but the program can hardly take more pieces. (the time to move a bigger part one unit takes about 9sec)
- Finally I would have been happier if I could have made it with real bricks.
Thanks for reading!!

This is beyond cool! I'm really impressed with the building techniques you used to connect the 'atoms'. My geek heart swells with pride looking at this one. Excellent subject choice and an excellent build!
