This is my very first MOC series, a Steampunk series about a mechanic in a world known as the Skyworld. (this is just a preview.)
About this creation
Fourth Walling: This is the back-story to The Skyworld. Enjoy.

It all started with the lust for money. In 1837, a mining company discovered a entirely new material, black and tough. It had an amazing ability: to fly. Seeing what an enormous fortune he could gain, an alchemist purchased a huge quantity of this material, and dubbed it "Skystone." The alchemist worked through the night, using every form of alchemy he knew. However, his efforts were in vain. In anger, he grabbed a pestle and brought it down on the skystone.

The resulting explosion spread a huge black dust cloud over the whole of Europe. Within seconds it had reached America. As it spread, the dust turned ordinary rocks into skystone, tugging at the earth, and making entire continents lift out of the water. the continental plates were thrown into disarray and the sea turned to fog under the heat of the lava bubbling up from the cracked earth. and as the continents settled in the sky, the world shifted out of place. It had become the Skyworld.
