The world has changed greatly since the Dawn of the Heroes; real accounts of terrifying magics, horrible creatures, and incredible feats fell to myth and legend. This land of old was treacherous and dangerous, until the Heroes came. These men and women were gifted in Strength, Skill and Will and combated the terrors of the time.
But, as time passed the heroes started to disappear and upon the twentieth century, all the heroes seemed gone. The world is still a dangerous place, but most of the evils aren't the stuff of legend. People are the main danger.
The world needs a Hero.
Eric Mickle Presents...
A New Series...
Our story begins in the present, in the great city of Washington DC.
A politician attracts a few onlookers, as he gives a speech about his upcoming re-election. He is a senator, and chose to voice himself near the capitol building, in a small plaza.
A man with dark intentions opens the door to a conference room, the perfect place for what he will do.
Another man approaches the plaza.
The dark man places his briefcase on the conference room table...
...and proceeded to assemble a rifle.
Man: "It's nearly time."
The mysterious man approaches the plaza, seeing him, the biker tries conversation.
Biker: "Hey dude."
But he is met only by silence.
The dark man climbs onto the table, and looks down the rifle sight.
The mysterious man passes through the crowd, pushing the members aside.
Angry Man: "Agh! What the hell?!?!"
He then raises his weapon, a unique pistol with six turret barrels.
Secret Service Agent: "We have a situation, prepare local units."
The dark man adjusts his aim...
...for the senators chest.
The mysterious man climbs up on the stage...
...and looks into the distance. The SS Agent holds his weapon to the man's head.
SS Agent: "Stop right there, dirtbag."
The man turns around, and unleashes a force into the SS Agents head, knocking him back.
The dark man curses at this strange occurrence and decides the moment is now. He squeezes the trigger, sending a lethal bullet on it's way. Since he is positioned inside a conference room, the flash and sound of the weapon is muffled. No one could see or hear it.
The man seemingly predicts the shot, pushes the senator aside, and fires his turret pistol. An impossible shot.
But the feat is not impossible for this man, his bullet hits his target, killing the would-be assassin.
The man then kicks the podium off of the stage.
The shocked crowd members gasp, a few having to dive out of the way.
The other agent levels his weapon, the previously assaulted one is doing the same.
The man backs up to the center of the stage...
... and forces the agents aside.
The man looks out at the crowd, who are bewildered at his abilities
He then raises his arms...
...and lifts the plaza tiles from under the crowd.
The people are shocked once again. Unable to get a stable footing, most of the people fall to the ground.
The man lets down his arms, and with them the tiles fall back to the ground. The audience struggles to get back up, a few are slightly injured.
Soon after the law arrives.
Police Chief: "Drop your weapon scum, don't try anything!"
The officers direct the crowd into questioning, SWAT members move in on the man.
The man gives an expression of defeat. His intentions are not to kill, and if he tried to escape, someone could perish.
Police Chief: "I said drop your weapon, now!"
The man's weapon falls to the ground.
Later that day.
The strange man has been moved to a questioning chamber, deep in a federal building. Two agents start the procedure.
Agent Filmore: "Alright, let's start with your name."
Agent Johnson: "Your real name."
Man: "My name is... Sacretis and I have a warning."
End of Chapter I
Thank you for viewing the first part of my new series! I hope I have captured your attention, and you wish to keep watching this story. This chapter took much longer than I expected, almost two months. I had to build about 5 or 6 sets, some small and one large. The next chapter would only have small sets, so it won't take very long. I start college this fall, and it will most likely effect my building. Hopefully, I can make this series without ridiculously long lapses.
very convincing story! cartoon quality, the halls, corridors, were awesome, when I saw the capitole I laughed, it was so real! the meat is this guy s powers, it seems fantastic, I m happy not having to wait lol!
Clean and amazing building. What more could one ask for? The only problem I have is with the story telling. I feel like the way the story is being told is not the best way that it can be portrayed. More of a show not tell type of thing would do. Nothing wrong or bad with it of course. I just feel like it could use some sprucing up. Nonetheless great effects and the lighting on that interrogation room is fantastic. 5/5! ~Stay green
Very good. A bit like Star Wars mixed with Homeland. I have no doubt it will be as addictive as the latter! Very good cliff hanger at the end too. I don't really like the image of the Capitil Building you used in the window. It dosn't seem as good.

Thanks for the advice but: the crowd actually uses all my minifig heads, hair, and most of my torsos; I actually like the blood effect and am not a fan of edited-in blood; and it wouldn't be a Fable story without his abilities.
As always, very good! The builds are magnificent. A few words of advice though. 1) a lot of your figures could use some work, especially the ones in the crowd. 2) work on your blood. I noticed it before, but the studs just don't look right. Try putting a flat tile that is red where the man was laying, maybe some effects with GIMP. 3) The story is a little over seen. I know it's a BIT unique, but think about all the times people have seen superhuman abilities and what not. Even Island Locked II had it. Great job though!
