MORNING (MObile RecoN INvestiGator)
Recently captured by a handful of Stormtrooper defectors, the MORNING is not something one would want to wake up to. Two stories high and loaded with artillery, it can blow up the night.
About this creation
Once used by the Imperial Army for extensive recon investigations around its Kuntertahp base, MORNING is now a mobile stronghold for the Kuntertahp Resistance. Requiring only five people to run (and, apparently, to capture), the Resistance is given a huge boost with the acquisition of the metal beast. Only when Rebel forces claim the planet five years later will the Resistance's acquisitions become obsolete.

The tri-windscreen anterior and dual-cockpit design are unique to the MORNING and give it three vantage points in assessing the environment.

The dorsal cannon and flanking turrets, with the high-frequency radar dish in the background.

The starboard flank, with its large bay windows and thick armor, provides a nearly unobstructed view of the terrain while protecting the inside.

Homing missiles are conveniently concealed behind the armor plates on the second level, three on each side.

A rogue manning the homing missiles.

Armor plate detail. (Yes, I borrowed some elements from the Republic Attack Shuttle.)

The posterior face features a deployable boarding ramp, fourteen thrust nodes, a bay window for sniping and gunning, and a vertically adjustable twin-ion cannon.

Gunner's position and thrust nodes.

The interior of the second level.

A rogue Aquatrooper manning the gunner's nest.

Two utility lockers are aboard containing helmet visors and LED lights, small arms, and binoculars.

The central staircase.

A rogue spots an unsuspecting Stormtrooper and aims his sniper rifle through an anterior bay window.

The ventral face holds three primary lift saucers and two secondary lift saucers, capable of lifting the massive tonnage many feet into the air.

'I'll see you in the MORNING.'
