The first thing I've built in quite a While, this is my first serious attempt at making a large-scale mech. Overall I think it turned out very well :)
About this creation
Developed in Tylorian labs, the LX-89 "Ravager is a state of the art mecha, armed with ion cannons, rail guns, and all other assorted death devices.
The mech features many advanced techniques for mechanized warfare, such as powering the mech through a built in fusion reactor positioned between the legs. Many refer to it obliquely as the bab˙-maker."
Poseability/cockpit shot. (Note that if this were ever built in real life, this would be impossible, or at least, highly unlikely... This can also titled- the constipation shot)
Nothing is an obstacle for the Ravager!
Doing what it does best- hunting down Lukanian slime.
(as a side note, does anyone know how to focus a camera on two different areas? Because while taking this shot, I tried to get the camera to focus on the mech and the guy, but for the life of me I could not do it.)
By 'proper feet', I mean feet that are a bit larger in size than the ones you have at the moment. It's just that I'm very picky with mechs and they have to look just right. Maybe adding some 'toes' to both sides and the front of each foot would make them look better, to me anyway. It's just my opinion, and if you like how your mech is, then that's fine.
Very nice mech! And it's my favorite style as well, more of a vehicle than humanoid robot. To get both objects in focus, set your camera to take the largest resolution possible, stand farther back and use your optical zoom(digital zoom doesn't look great) and take your photo. Afterwards just crop the photo down. The larger the resolution, the bigger the end result will be.
Nice mech, I love the feet! To have two objects in focus at the same time, they need to be fairly close together. Another way to make them relatively both in focus is to back up and zoom in. That makes the distance between them less significant, and so they focus in better together.
