No ramble today, since this isn't my re-introduction MOC. See CPS "Hooded Cobra" for that.
About this creation
Before I begin, I have to give a shoutout to Danny Johnson, for giving me the tips I needed to make this as clear as possible.
CPS "Sulaco" Class: "Kodiak" class Cruiser Approx. Size: 880 ft Crew: 3000 Armament: 3 Lance Cannons, 1 Medium Kinetic Energy Weapon (KEW), 2 Rail guns, 2 Multi Warhead Rocket Systems (MWRSs), 4 Light KEWs, 1 Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP)Cannon Planet of Origin: Xylla Affiliation: Coalition of Planets
The "Kodiak" class cruiser is one of the newer classes of warships, and the most recent Xylan development. Created just weeks after the beginning of the COP/UNE conflict, they now populate the majority of Xylan navies, and some have even been loaned to other Coalition fleets (though the Tarsin and Thyrendi primary fleets remain pure). The "Sulaco" is the guardian of the archaic "Hooded Cobra," said to be the most ancient of all Xylan ships, and was key in capturing Alterzia.
Here's a front view. The black thing on the front isn't the bridge, it's actually just an observation area. Behind it are two Light KEWs and the EMP cannon. Further back, you can see the actual bridge, flanked by two more Light KEWs.
Now a view of the back. The gap represents the entrance to the hanger bay, every ship needs one. It's guarded by the Medium KEW and 2 Rail guns. You can also spot the MWRSs.
This is about as much greebling as you'll get out of me (Not a big fan of greebs), but I felt that the situation warranted them. This is the Communications/Sensor Relay station. It's nice and detailed without being greebed so much that it looks incomplete.
Bottom view, showing off the 3 Lance cannons. They're not as powerful as the giant mounted on the "Hooded Cobra," but they still pack a major punch.
Showing off the engine detail.
- Ignore the Yellow Bricks in the background, they're just part of my stand for the paper.
-If you'd please leave a comment and a rating, it'd be much appreciated.
Very nice design, I especially like the greebles on the top.

Great zot, look at the SIZE of that thing! You didn't build an artillery, you built a record setting cannon and strapped wheels on it! Great job, I'm tempted to snatch (and modify) that cannon design for something of my own.
I don't mind at all, just if it looks extremely similar to the original (mine) just say where you got the inspiration from please.
