This MOC has been created for the sole purpose of introducing and explaining the rules of Project Paradise. I have created an example entry so participants will know exactly what is expected in an entry.
We will start with the micro-scale model. Your entry must contain a micro-scale model of your paradise on an island. There are no size restrictions. As you can see, for my example I made a sci-fi themed hotel thingy. You can build anything you want, as long as it fits the speculations.
Personal boat dock.
A window looking out to the sea.
We will now move on to the next part. Along with your micro-scale model, you must have a vignette and/or diorama of your paradise. Remember! Your micro-scale model and vignette/dio must be in the same MOC! I decided to build several small vignettes. You can build multiple vignettes and/or dioramas if you wish. I will now hand the time over to Sig-Figgy Netro.
Sig-Fig Netro: “Currently, we are standing in the islands garden.”
Sig-Fig Netro: “As you can see, this fountain is just one of the many beauties throughout the garden.”
Sig-Fig Netro: “Lets move on to the bedroom.”
Sig-Fig Netro: “We are now standing in the middle of the bedroom.”
Sig-Fig Netro: “This is the bed. Above, you can see a small shelf containing a few belongings.”
Sig-Fig Netro: “Here is the computer, and the really comfy chair.”
Sig-Fig Netro: “This is the LEGO building desk, but its rather small. I’m hoping to expand it soon.”
Sig-Fig Netro: “Um, this is the hot tub. Here, let me show you…”
Sig-Fig Netro: “Ah…what a life…”
Sig-Fig Netro: “Finally, I’m going to show you the generator room. This is more of a storage room than a generator room, because we can’t really take a look at the generator.”
Sig-Fig Netro: “This here is CL-Bot576. CL, what exactly are you doing right now?”
CL-Bot576: “Well, as you can see we are packing supplies into crates and boxes for future use. It is very organized operation.”
Sig-Fig Netro: “Hmm…interesting…”
CL-Bot576: “Would you like to test this crate out?”
Sig-Fig Netro: “ZZZ…Hmm, what? Uh, sure…”
Sig-Fig Netro: “Agh! Somebody help! Help me!”
CL-Bot576: “This will only take a few quick seconds…”
10 Minutes Later…
CL-Bot576: “All done! Netro?”
Well, that’s all! If you have any questions, please ask here or in the group. Just remember, In an entry you must have the following:
A micro-scale module of your paradise on an island.
A vignette and/or diorama of your paradise. You can have multiple vignettes and/or dioramas if you wish.
These two must be in the same MOC!
That is about all that is required. You can have a total of three entries. Also, please remember that I will be making a MOC to announce who the winners are. If you win, but I don’t know what your sig-fig looks like, I will have to mark you as “absent” in the MOC. Please go to the proper thread in the group to discuss further.
If you are interested in joining this, you can find Project Paradise here .
Hey, I'm in. I got two Dios and a micro ready to post, but I still need to take pics. (ugh) Could you expand the contest? (I know it's a bit mch to ask but I'm leaving and won't be back to post it until the 28th or 29th)Also it'd be extra time for the others to work on their projects. :D
