My entry into Mr. Xenomurphy's Superhero challenge. I chose the old category.
About this creation
After the death of The Joker, the other vilians lost their fight and retired from their lives of crime. Bruce Wayne Industries went bankrupt as there was no more need for defense spending. Forced into Chapter 11, Bruce Wayne had to liquidate all of his assets. With no more criminals or tech gear left, he quietly slipped into retirement.
Now at the retirement home he cruises around in his "Batwheelchair", still sporting his outfit -- the only thing left from his golden days as the Bats. Now in his golden years, he sits around playing checkers longing for the days of old. And then one day he spots a mime.....
"You forgot your HELMET!!"
"B.b.b.but I'm just a MIME!"
"I don't want to hear it Joker....I'm the God Damn Batman!"
An overview of the build.
Just in case anyone asks....there's no smoke coming out of the chimney because it's Summer....duh!
A yellow breasted titmouse bathing in the bird bath.
Some shots of the Batwheelchair. It's about time I found some use for those discs! LOL I had originally planned to do a normal wheelchair, but then I took it a few steps further for giggles.
A sideways shot to prove I stayed within the limits.
Many thanks to Mr. Xenomurphy and the wonderful judges involved in the competition! To check out the other entries go to the contest page HERE
Just like Stacy, my favourite part is the porch - excellent design. It's funny, the whole story reminds me of a short comic I once drew, in which also somebody was mistaken for the Joker. Anyway, good luck in the contest.
i love the idea, with Batman at a retirement home, it sure is a great idea, i really like the, Bat-Wheeler, a very suitable Wheeler for the Old Batman, (or it could also be kaleta at a retirement home, who knows? =) great job keep it up
