King Gothan
EDIT: This moc is old and requires an update.
About this creation
King Gothan is the current ruler of Ga Koro. It is unusual for a male to be in a position of power there, so his presence has brought about many changes in their society. He is a gruff hardworking individual who has used his charisma and power to better his people and is arguably one of the best Monarchs Ga Koro has ever seen.

King Gothan has repeatedly shown his prowess in battle and is highly respected for his abilities in underwater combat. Ga Koro is comprised of hundreds of tiny close-together villages which often blend and create one long stretch of civilization. The villages often sport docks which go out further the larger the city is and cottages and huts are built on land and over water. Underwater, on the sea floor, the villages extend down, cities somtimes becoming so huge that they peek out of the surface. Nearly 2/3rds of Ga Koro is underwater, making it essential for citizens to be amphibious.

The curved blade is representative of Ga Koro, and while it is used in other places, rarely is it seen as much. Due to its being mostly submerged, Ga Koro naturally has a very large navy, however they have no land forces and often rely on their Elite Guard to defend them from the occasional Le Matoran attack, but more on that later. King Gothan himself sports two huge blades which he wields expertly, especially in water.

Huge webbed feet are a common characteristic of Ga Matoran to help them more easily navigat the waters, however they also sometimes have very long and narrow features. Ga Matoran of this physiology are often seen as beautiful and regarded as the best wives or husbands of Moto Nui. There was a queen who was ursurped from her throne early on in her rule due to her warmongering against all who did not posess this physical feature. Ironically, she was not of this body type herself. In fact, Ga Koro has a long history of awful tyrannical monarchs who opress their people and force their views upon them, and yet it is one of the richest and most prosperous places in Moto Nui.

Being that they are associated with the element of water, Ga Matoran are more comfortable there than on land. Some Ga Matoran who have a particularly strong bond with their element are known as healers and can harness the healing powers of water to cure diseases and wounds. This ability is amplified in Ga Toa, who can actively save lives whilst in combat. One Ga Toa by the name of Heppta became corrupted and overwhelmingly powerful. Her healing skills became such that she could effectively reanimate the dead. She began a zombie uprising and started to attack Ga Metru but was killed by a Toa of Ice.

Ga Matoran are known for their artwork and inventiveness and are second only to Po Matoran in the skill of statue carving. While Ga Koro surface cities and towns are little more than shacks and huts, the great underwater cities of Ga Koro are a sight some come from Moto Ra to see. Due to the reduced gravity of the ocean floor, these cities tend to be more three dimensional, with doors and hatchways all over the buildings. Ga Matoran have also learned to manipulate current in the great Ga Metru chute system. At the end of a long tube of electromagnetic protodermis, huge fans propel the water along in the tubes and Ga Matoran pass easily in and out of the great chutes, providing quick and efficient transportation all around the city.

FWCOkay! I think that's about it for the lore, hope you guys enjoyed it :) Here's a nice pic of the Ga Koro crew all together!

And here they are again in a different pose. I like the look of this guy and he is now officially my round three tournamocoff post. Here's the link to my opponent: Lego Topian

Huh, when I first looked at this, I didn't think it was an entrie. But since it is, I will say you've done a fine job on this! It's a mixed bag of good and bad. The good is the foot design, weapons, and something abot the arm. The bad, however, is I think the arms were a little to basic, and the body, well is good, but I think you could've done better on it. However this is only a minor flaw since there is only so much you can do to a matoran. Overall, You have a good matoran, but there's some things I've seen already. Your Score: 8/10

Nice entry! I have to say, i enjoyed the background info immensely. The build is very satisfying, thin but not too light. I give it... a 9/10
