Pirates - motorized pirate airship
motorized MOC - pirate airship with about fifteen things in motion.
About this creation
To answer a frequently asked question: Yes, the blimp/balloon element (like the rest of the model) is a genuine Lego part.

This is a motorised model - here is an animated gif showing it in motion. Motorised stuff includes:

- Minifig sailors cranking the windlass
- Ten spinning propellors
- Two flapping wings
- Rudder

In addition, there is an electric headlamp at the front, lighting in the rear cabin, and various flashing lights in the control room.

(MOCpages doesn't display animated gifs, hence me using the link.)

Other keywords: Dirigible, Zeppelin, Steampunk, Adventurers,

Suprisingly enough, the Adventurers blimp is the only zepplin set ever to go on the Lego market. You did use it nicely.

yes that blimp is an actual lego part. i have it myself. it came with a johnny lightning set and can be used as a storage container. i have tried building something with the blimp and it usually turns out really flimsy. covering it with chains and nets is a good idea

I always liked the Steampunk stuff. I bought that rise of Nations weird sequel almost JUST to see the steam punk mechs and stuff. NICE! it needs interior pictures though, and no logo on the top. Nice creation, though.
