After much tinkering (which, if we take a lesson from the Doctor, will never really end) I present: the original TARDIS control room!
About this creation
It was important for me to build the rarely-seen ceiling structure, which is hanging from a Technic frame. It also pivots a bit for access.
I'm not sure if a grandfather clock ever appeared on the set in those days, but it seemed appropriate. Also that's my attempt at the Roman chair. The interior door opens.
Probably the most difficult part was the main doors. They have a distinctive shape that is hard to capture. These ones are quite blocky and probably won't work very well, but the gaps might allow some play. Now, where's Chesterfield? I mean, Chesterton? Hmmm?
