We must get some communication up, and fast. Once we have a satellite in our control, we will be able to keep track of all our missions and be prepared for the future. We will also be able to progress further.
BUILD THE SATELLITE:
Specs:
One satellite
One small control panel on side.
One connection box.
One antenna on connection box.
DUE: JULY 27
This should be rather simple, but it must be completed. Got that, crew? Get buildin'. Information
The V.I.C (Visual Intelligence and Communication) is our camp's first great stride forward into the unknown, and by creating this satellite we can go further thane ever before, in safety and with prior knowledge of what is ahead. V.I.C is powered by a unusual use of light sensitive glass, found in a downed Alien craft a few weeks ago, and we discovered a way of harnessing the energy created from the change in the glass when exposed to light. None of this could have been possible with out Broken Rivet, our chief engineer and captain of the build crew.
The 'eyes' of V.I.C, basically two mounts holding several cameras and telescopes aimed in different directions to cover the large distances need for V.I.C's patrol work.
On the top of V.I.C shows the connection box (underneath the grille) connected to a large satellite dish for transferring information, video and commands to and fro from camp 1.
The control panel, used by maintenance crews during orbit. This can access all the satellites movements and communication with camp 1, plus the status of the satellites Glass panels, energy intake etc.
There is also another pane of Light sensitive glass underneath to harness as much light energy as possible. Also there are fuel tanks and thrusters located around here is there were any need for the satellites position to be adjusted
