The Mk II was designed with a much shorter fuselage than the original Euro Systems-Fighter to allow the cramped carriers of the time to fit more planes on board. Performance specifications were similar bar for a reduced range. The most notable improvement was the new shapes maneuverability in vacuum; however in atmosphere the shape lent much the opposite effect.

G'day all! Sorry about not being around much recently, been all of over the shop. Hey I'm chuffed you guys like this one, it's just so chibi. And I had a lot of fun photo editing this one. Just love the way fighter jets used to get painted and I kind of had a go at it here mixed with muscle car style. Bonnet flames on black, ohh yeh!
She looks like a sweet ride, oh and the fighter is pretty well built too! One thing though, I was having a hard time making out some of the details against the space backgrounds. Guess my eyes are getting worse right along with the rest of me. If you have any other angle shots, I'd love to see them. Long live GAIA!
Thanks for the aerotechnology history lesson! Makes one appreciate the advancements of science, math, engineering and computer guidance systems! Okay boys and girls... see... science and math are IMPORTANT! :)
