"Building for First Place," quite a nice slogan, don't you agree?
About this creation
Before you guys start thinking this was inspired by the Olympics, I'm sorry to disappoint, but it is not. I actually am not all too interested in the Summer Olympics. The Winter ones are more appealing because I get to see stuff I never could do because living in Florida makes winter sports a little difficult to perform. Also, if Snow were to cover the ground here, people would probably freak out thinking it was an apocalyptic sign or something.
Now, onward to the build. This is an entry for The Contest Group's first contest which is the contest for the group picture. I wipped this up in a couple of hours so I say it is pretty good for something due in two days and only with two other entries at the moment.
It's glorious, isn't it?
The build is all Three-Dimensional with a hollow area like a real cup trophy.
Not all to enjoyable from the backside. Now that I think of it, I should have put some little gag on the back, oh well.
Some detail of the stand.
The detail of the front. This is probably the highlight of the build.
Just to give you guys a perspective of how big this is. I would hold it by the handles, but they're a little weak. Like a real trophy, being pretty doesn't mean it isn't fragile.
It looks really nice, you did well on the front detail. It COULD look better if you put some type of accent color, but I don't know. Also, I'd like to apologize for creating a topic without yours or Mister Lego's permission, I was not paying good attention to the rules, and I'm sorry. I just reread the rules and payed a lot more attention to them to see what I missed.
Soli Deo Gloria!
