To get a break from designing tanks, I decided to make a spaceship. I've been developing and perfecting this model for over a week, and now it's finally ready to be posted. It has no specific purpose, or backstory or anything. It can be used in any setting or story. It presented mainly a challenge.
About this creation
The other side. Nothing to it that you can't see.
The bottom. I didn't really add landing gear, because the body design is so complicated (a lot of SNOT).
The pilot cabin with two pilots
The side... things... Each carrying a gun turret with a control bubble. Int he back are the sleeping cabins.
As you can see here.
The back of the ship.
Engines. And grebbles.
The airlock. It has two doors on the inside, don't worry.
The entire ship. Quite long, I might add.
The inside (top comes of easily). it has three main compartments:
The main bridge,
The airlock (one of both doors (sliding and operable IRL))
and the medic station.
The pilot cabin. All sections are connected and passable
Again, the side thingie.
Some bad Photoshop ®
That's it! You may download it and use it, I don't mind with this one really. Built as a challenge. Don't reupload the LDD though, that gets me mad.
Though I had to fiddle with the color scheme a bit because of parts availability (most notably, the big dorsel panels aren't available in white), I am nearly through my IRL build of this model. A GREAT challenge, and a ton of fun. A couple of more parts to come in the mail, and when they do, I'll post pics. Again, thanks for a brilliantly challenging design!
