Working Technic Catapult
One night I had the sudden urge to build something using Technic parts. I also wanted to build a catapault. Those two ideas then had a car crash. And thus was born my Technic Catapault.
About this creation

The catapult fired

The mechanism

The pin holds the catapult back

The rubber band. The grey axle with the stud on the end is a lever to "reload" the catapult. The function is really cool, despite the simplicity of it all.

The ammunition

Fire the Catapult!

And finally, the pin. I'm holding on to about a stud long of the cross axle.

If he stands 2 feet away, he'll be fine. :)

I've changed this a little since I posted it. Previously, when fired this catapult jumped about 1 inch into the air, moving about a centimeter back. I solved this by adding more bricks on the back, creating more weight so it wouldn't jump. I also raised the front a little to prevent the gears for disengaging.
