In the 21st Century, Leprechauns haven't died out... they've just gone hi-tech!
About this creation
Top o' the morning to you! What with satellites and GPS all over the place, we Leprechauns have to be pretty fast on our feet to stay hidden these days. I'd like to show you how we do it with me lovely new ride, the "Pot o' Gold."
She's a dainty dancer, to be sure - silent propulsion means she's seen but not heard. And mostly, she's not seen either; rainbow generators confuse both visual and radar detectors. Plus, they make pretty rainbows!
There's plenty of space in the cockpit for me to store me precious gold.
And if any villainous flibbertigibbets do catch sight of me, there's always the 'Luck o' the Irish' energy dart, with attached serendipity resonators. Who needs a great ugly cannon when you're guaranteed always to hit the target's weakest spot?
So next time you see a rainbow, think of me riding high in the sky! You'll not get me gold tho'!
I've not been very active lately but I have been doing a few small builds, mostly spacecraft... this one was inspired by the Shofixti Scout from the old Star Control computer game (for the overall design), and somewhat by the Artemis Fowl books by Eoin Colfer for the back story. Well worth a read if the idea of high-tech Leprechauns tickles your fancy!
Apologies to my Irish friends for all the cheesy cliches....
Brilliant concept! What do you do with the leprechaun fig if you're a ship builder? Well you've answered that question. Love the angles you achieved, and the diagram adds more to the build than any other diagram I've seen. So very well done.
