this chunky pannier has many benchmarks for me 1st it is the first model I've built that is 8 studs wide and it is the first pannier i have built. it is a model of the hawksworth desighned 9400 class they were basically a taper boiler version of the earlier 5700 class. the first 10 of the class were built at swindon works with superheaters after nationalisation in 1948 private built a further 200 for british railways. Their main duties were shunting and banking however they had to be route restricted because of their weight.
They are actually quite cheap, seeing as you can get a good amount of colors and sizes, But I have never ordered from them. All my wheels are Lego. I could use more wheels, but then Id need more pieces for the train itself. I might try another Lionel model soon as I sorta gave up on the General after finishing the engine and tender. Oh and your group, You spelled the name wrong.
Just saying. Id get that fixed.
