Episode 5: SpiderNapped
"So what you're telling us, Is you're a God, exiled to Earth by your evil brother?" Asked Nick Fury. "Yes. I know it sounds crazy but-" Tony butted in during Thors sentence; "Hey, you hear some crazy stuff doing this job mate."
"Well take these..." Tony handed Thor a hammer and a belt. "They should replicate your powers."
At that point an alarm went off, and Nick answered his radio. "Yeh. Ok. I'll get right on it."
"Ok team. I trust you all know of the individual known as Spider-Man. Peter Parker." Fury began, but after a quizzical look from Thor, he was forced to explain who Parker was. "Anyway, now you ALL know, I shall continue. Since he is who he is, we gave his Aunt, May Parker, an emergency number if ever he was in any danger. Last night she rang us and told us he had not come home, of course he is still a teenager, with a girlfriend, so we didn't act immediately. But we contacted his girlfriend, Mary-Jane Watson, and some of his other friends, Harry Osborne, Gwen Stacey and Johnny Storm-" "You mean the Human-Torch Johnny Storm?" Clint asked. "Yes. Now may I continue? Good. None of them had been with him last night. So we can only conclude that he has been kidnapped." Cap spoke up. "Osborne? Could it have been him?" "We don't know, but it's not his usual style. But whatever is going, we need to keep his family safe. Cap, you've got the Stacey girl, Stark, the Watson girl, Natasha, his aunt...and we figure Storm can take care of himself."
Gwen Staceys house
Cap walked up to the door and knocked. No answer.
He knocked again. No answer.
Cap kicked in the door and rushed in.
"Hello?" He called.
He was relieved when he saw Gwen standing, her back to him. "Hello?" He asked. But she didn't answer.
He put his hand on her back, only for her to fall into his arms, a knife in her chest.
"A mannequin?" Cap reached for his shield, but was lunged at by an unseen attacker.
The shield went flying, useless. "That's my old costume from the war!" Cap exclaimed.
The pair fought on.
But Cap was knocked back.
His assailant leapt on top of him.
Cap struggled, but the imposter knocked him out with a glass.
The imposter took Cap's radio. "This is Rogers. The girls dead. Signs of a fight, but the killers gone." He said.
The next thing Cap knew he was in a dark, wet cell. "Where am I?" He groaned. "I wish I knew." The reply came from Spider-Man. "Pete. He got you too?"
And that, my friends, is episode 5. Expect Episode 6 tommorow, that being the conclusion of this story arc, and episode 7 either Saturday OR Sunday, not sure yet.
