lol! tintin? the light blue guy I guess, ok, the minifigs are an interesting take, as they could do a fine job on forced perspective pieces, or this slightly scaled down, heu, racer scale? the truck looks real good, shape, proportions, functionality, in my point of view, only the windsheid, and front pillars should be revisited, an easy fix for a very nice kit! |

BTW, what kind of bricks do you use to hinge the doors? Because i also want to make it not project out with a gap in between the door and the frame Hi thanks for the question :D. I have used two 2x1 bricks with hinge (on the top), not sure what the official name is but you can see them in the fourth or fifth photo - hope that helps. I look forward to see what you come up with.

@ Ryan – Thanks mate, that is a really good idea. I only have a modest collection of bricks (most of my collection is technic) so, like you, I need to take mocs apart before I build others. I would love to build a famous corner, or maybe a garage/workshop scene but I would even struggle with that. I will try my best Sir. I really don’t want to make another ‘CrackLink’ order.
@ Chris – I really was not expecting that. Hopefully it will stay there for a few days.

Just read the rules, so it all starts on the 9th. From memory most of the creations will be posted in the last few days of each round so you do have a week or so before the MO juggernaut hits hard. I would love to see your creation but it might be wise to leave it until the end of the first 2 or 3 rounds. Going to leave my decision to the last minute (like last year). Lets see what the categories are. |

There is no way not to notice it, as you and some of your buddies are my favourite builders, too ;-)) Sometimes I need a while to write a comment, especially for more complex models. For those I like to write a more detailed comment and that needs more time. I usually leave an open tab on my browser at home and then write the comments when I have some more time... By the way, I'm also planning to build a 5- or 6-wide transporter for some of my 4-wides, but it's still a vague idea, nothing specific. Maybe an open transporter or something like your Acid Race Team truck, or something completely different. We'll see ;-)) |
