War of the 7th Age, Sig-fig and companions
This is the first group i have join, and also will be the first work i ever upload. These MOC will take place during the 7th Age of Middle Earth where the alliance of men is failing, and a new evil stirs. I think i will be better at the RP aspect, but am hopeful my building skills will improve alongside.
About this creation

Zimmerale Dawnbringer. Male Human Paladin.
Zimmerale was born in the Anfalas region of Gondor. His family was about as well off as any family could be in this downtrodden region. He happily went about his chores until age 13, when he was sent to begin his military training at a local lords keep. At the end of his second year he and his fellow recruits were ambushed by Corsairs of Umbar. Zimmerale and what remained of his fellow classmates where quickly sailed to Near Harad and sold into slavery.
He spent 3 years in various Haradrim forced labor camps, keeping his head low and doing his best to survive. It had been at least a year since he had seen the only other surviving member of his recruitment class. Perhaps it was the overwhelming desire to go home, perhaps he was coming into his own, either way one fateful day he stood right in harms way. A nearby hobbit had collapsed from exhaustion and could lift his body even under threat of a lashing. The guard who took particular joy in his work lifted his arm high and came down hoping to hear the squeal of a hobbit. He heard the delightful crack and sound of contact on flesh, but his whip had found the back of a human boy huddled over the collapsed hobbit. Another guard came to pull of Zimmerale, but the guard with a whip waved him off and pulls back for another strike. He struck again and again and again. He whipped until he grew tired, in a last insult he kicks dirt in Zimmerales face and moves on barking orders at other slaves. Zimmerale immediately collapses. The next day Zimmerale tells the head slave master he wishes to fight in the pits, the slave master grins and points him to a caravan set for a different type of camp. When he turned to walk to the caravan he almost tripped over the same hobbit he saved yesterday. The hobbit made the same request and the slave master laughed and told him to follow his mother as he pointed at Zimmerale. Once aboard the caravan the hobbit introduced himself as Obrandus Wagonslayer. They exchanged tales on the ride to pit camp.
They spend almost 2 years in the Haradrim pits. Their duo was unmatched. Zimmerales skill with a blade combined with Obrandus's with a crossbow kept them alive and well fed. Zimmerale also became quite proficient with the throwing star, a weapon he hadn't ever seen prior to his time in the pits. The first time they thought to escape was the night they overheard that the following day's fight would mean certain death for one of them. The next day's fight would pit them against each other, they had outlived their usefulness and new blood must be made champion. That night they made their escape. They ran for Harondor. They tried to run parallel to the Harad road to avoid patrols looking for them. The barren lands were very trying, but in just under a year they had successful dodged or killed patrols and had laid eyes for the first time on the Crossings of Poros. They excitedly made their way across the Poros river when the sound of battle caught thier attention. Without so much as looking at each other, they simultaneously headed up river towards the sound.
Upon reaching their destination, they see locked in battle Haradrim warriors, Rohirrim riders, and elves clad in green robes. They picked their targets and shifted the tide of battle against the Haradrim. As the last Haradrim warrior falls a female elf pulled herself up out of the bloody water using a oranate golden staff with a green jewel atop of it and thanked them for their assistance. She introduced herself as Bonnalurie Windroot. She told how the Haradrim raided her forest village killing many people including her father and stealing his staff. The Haradrim then retreated towards Harondor. She rallied what little defenses they had left to pursue these defilers. They only caught up to the offenders because of a Rohirrim patrol they attacked earlier had tracked them and engaged them here at the river. The group gathered its wounded and takes them back to Windroots village. It takes 3 days for the Rohirrim to gain the strength to ride again, they told Zimmerale and Obrandus of their outpost not more than a few days ride from this village. The Rohirrim rode off.
Zimmerale and Obrandus spent a few weeks helping rebuild Windroots village and getting to know Windroot herself. As it turned out her older brother did survive his wounds suffered from the first attack and was prepared to take his place as leader of the village. They remained in Windroot for a few years, learning from the elves. One day a wounded Rohirrim messenger arrived in town, he was riddled with arrows. Upon closer inspection it turned out he was dead and the horse just managed to bring the rider to Windroot's village. Zimmerale quickly opened the message sealed within a scroll case. Much had changed in the past few years, unknown to the village but a band of Urak-hai had not only enslaved a town but overrun an outpost. Bonnalurie immediately sent a rider with this message to the nearest town. She mounted her horse and gathered some rangers. Her plan was to watch a pass near this village to prevent Urak-hai reinforcements from entering Mu'tah outpost before Rohan could send reinforcements. They headed out to Uhud pass. It was littered with a dead Rohirrim patrol and some Urak-hai. They gathered the Rohirrim bodies and sent them back to the village with some rangers. This left their ranks depleted. Zimmerale suggested gathering the native thorn bushes and forming defensive walls around key positions. The plan worked like a charm they were able to rout the incoming Urak-hai with minimal causalities, the battle of Uhud was won.
From that day forward Bonnalurie joined Zimmerale and Obrandus on their journey. They would take part of many battles, notably the Battle of Firaz where Zimmerale rallied Rohirrim troops to save the enslaved town. And soon after at the Seige of Mu'tah Zimmerale lead the freed slaves and remaining Rohirrim to drive out Urak-hai from their recently claimed outpost. This is where Zimmerale first uttered “From my cold, dead hands”. Zimmerales name quickly spread across Rohan. He became known as a liberator, a man of justice. He founded the Order of the Golden Lion, further spreading his influence. This order is tasked with helping the outlining villages, patrolling the Poros River, among other duties.

4th wall commentary: You may notice Zimmerale has scar across his eye. That a story for another time =)

Quoting Harry 863 Great figures! When you are making a MOC that takes a long time to upload and describe copy everything before you click the create button. That way if the page expires the only things you need to put back in are the main picture and the introduction as everything else you can paste back in.
Thanks,i actually did just that the second time and stayed up and rewrote it. I thought it was saved with text around 3 am. I will re-do it right away.
