I'm an informal science educator currently working at a planetarium (and a massive Lego fan), and I would absolutely be thrilled to have this model to use as a visual aid for programs on rocketry and telescopes. I know that Lego decided not to approve this project for retail, which is very dissapointing, especially to you I'm sure. Is there any chance you would be willing to release the designs via an LDD file? I'd be more than happy to compensate you for the designs, for what it's worth. Thank you in advance!
This link really shows why Lego really should have considered your model. Would you please post the instructions? I keep coming back to the pictures of your model. It is so beautiful and beautifully done. I want to make one for myself and for my little grandson (now 4, who has loved the Hubble since he was 2).

I'm very disappointed to read that this magnific project will not become an official set.
Please share the ldd project or a bricklink custom set in order to permit us to built it.
For a space fan the Hubble lego telescope should be a must have set!
Thank you for your great idea!
I was so, so, so disappointed this project was not approved to be built by Lego on Lego Ideas! I absolutely love it. I would have bought at least 3. One for me, one for my therapy play room and one for my grandson who shares my passion for space and the Hubble telescope. Could you please make and share an LDD, or sell plans on BrickLink or Ebay? It is so beautiful, it deserves to be built - like all your other models!
