BCBS September: Teravolt
Well here's the real post! Hope you like it guys! *note: still editing, but got up a real post for you morning people. Stay tuned for more story!*
About this creation

Here's all three of them. I'll let you guys decide which is best, but I still have that thrill of just building them, so I think that matoran is one of the best things I've ever built :P

So let's start off on a positive note! Isn't he epic? I thought he looked a little like Lord Oblivion's style, but everyone says no :/

Anyway, let's start the story!

Name: Teravolt, or Tera for short.
Species: Matoran
Occupation: Inventor
Story: Teravolt was a genius inventor in his city. He excelled at brewing chemicals to heal and augment, making ingenius weapons to make hunting easier, prosthetics for wounded matoran, and most of the city's masks. He did this for many years, uncontested in his amazing engineering and chemical abilities. Over time though, he became somewhat disgruntled. He felt that he was not being truly appreciated for what he was doing for the city, and underestimated in skill. He collected protodermis from the fields and broke into the archives and stole a shadow leech. That night, he crafted a mask of shadow! Unveiling it the next day to a surprised city, they grew afraid of the mask's ability and voted to exile Tera. He quickly spiraled into greed, jealousy, and pure burning hatred for the people who banished him. As the mask consumed him, he built a new workshop in the wastes and continued, inventing horrible weapons and dangerous chemicals. One day the idea came to him to synthesize a toa stone.

More story continued. Now, isn't he epic?

He invented a jetpack AND he has an armored ponytail to boot!

He's my most flexible matoran to date. I'm so glad those legs worked out. The elbows use boat stud connections, not sure who started that but they get credit :P

Now for the toa. Yes, he's epic :D

He's pretty flexible, but due to his size he's a bit flimsy, so you won't see many poses. I just love that giant generator on his back :3

And he can cross his arms!

When Teravolt created and activated the toa stone, energy rushed through his small body. He could feel his armor growing, reshaping, and his inventions popping off him. When his vision cleared, he was standing more than twice as tall! But the Great Beings were aware of his disturbances in the balance. A toa stone is not to be granted to such an impure character as he was. They sucked all the power out of him, leaving the dried-out husk of a once great toa that is his turaga form.

Anger became tearing through his body like a caged Muaka! All his hatred and anger was then directed at the great beings. In his anger, he brought down his staff on his leg, crushing his frail bone.

Later, he created a hate cult of the Great Beings. He spread lies about them, even destroying his own body to blame on what the Great Beings did. He hoped to turn some of his followers into gods, to combat the Great Beings, working on a secret project until the day his heart gave out only twenty years after the "Toa Incident". (Note: Matoran live a heckuva long time, twenty years is short!) History soon forgot his name as quickly as they forgot his body. His followers stopped believing, and went back to their normal lives.

Buried deep beneath the city lies a wealth of information that nobody wants.

And an old, tired ghost who still preaches of hate and lies.

Whew, I hope that last line was okay, I don't usually try to make my stories sound nice at the end like Chronos always does :P Now for the turaga. I like his asymmetry, but the overall shape leaves some desirability. In all, I'm happy, but not overly happy. I'm glad I could use that propeller. It's connected very strangely. It's on a jumper plate with a rod stuck in the stud.

I started on the lower half, which is why it's good.

Well, let's end on a positive note again!

Bye! Don't forget to rate, comment, and VOTE for me in the BCBS!

Nice story, very creative. And the MOCs are great. The Matoran seems very flexible indeed and looks very cool. The Toa is well made, it's a shame he lasted so short as a Toa. The Turaga is kinda odd but okay. It reminds me of a pirate with his leg. And this is Core Hunter's mask? Wow, never thought it was so small. Good luck!
