So, you're probably all familiar with the Sherlock Holmes novel "The Hound of the Baskervilles". Well this is a scene from the modern adaption of Sherlock Holmes, BBC's tv show "Sherlock". Episode "The Hounds of Baskerville."
Sherlock and Watson.
"Mr. Holmes, they were the footprints of a gigantic hound..."
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you liked it, and best of luck to everyone else entering in the MOs! :)
That new adaptation on BBC is genius, and that Sherlock actor is brilliant, bloody brilliant. Not to mention the rest of the cast. Sweet tribute, Annie! The footprint is nicely drawing the attention, a good exercise on rockwork too. Holmes and Watson are not very recognisable, but still very well built figs. Good luck with your judges!
I am a HUGE fan of the blank faces and, despite what some have said, the way in which you constructed them gives hints of facial features. I also LOVE the lighting as it sets the mood without taking anything away. Excellent work and good luck moving forward.~H
Good choice, I love that TV show! I like the fact that you've managed make the figures recogniseably like Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, even without faces. Good landscape work too, and good luck!
Excellent Annie, I am a big fan of this show and you have really brought out their characters even if they don't have any facial features, I think this is brilliant and a nice perspective on the category. I like the dark scene, it provokes memories from that episode. Good luck ;-)
Not bad. I like the scene and the figs - but not the heads. They look...much too blank. It's really to bad because, in my opinion, it "spoils" the whole MOC. I'm not too keen on your photography either. It's too dark to see all the lovely details you put in. Still a 4/5 build. Have you seen mine and Stuart Lucas' entries? We also chose scenes from "The Hound of the Baskervilles". You might want to check his out - it's great. -LB Jr.
