I'm sure I won't need it, or even want it, on my table at Brickworld Fort Wayne this weekend, but the image popped into my mind and so I tossed this together over the past day or so. Yes, the Bat-Plane/Bat-Wing/Bat-Thing is from a set (so is the crashed Jokercopter, so sue me). I just envisioned Jokey's copter crashed into building, with him snared in a Bat-net while the coppers close in. Naturally, Bats would be flying air cover until the officers arrive to toss Joker into Arkham Asylum or Sing-Sing or a cushy federal prison.
No, Joker is not saying "Where does he get those wonderful toys." He's saying, "$%@*@!"
This is great Dennis. I love the red it really makes the plane and everything else in the scene go pop! Poor Joker... There is nothing wrong with using existing sets inside your moc. They are there to be played with, and if you can build a set and think to yourself how you could give it a scene to play with then don't let anybody tell you not to honey.
I think you should exhibit this, it is more then "eye candy" it's an expression of our creativity! I used the Lex Luthor robot thing but created a scene for it! It's a good marriage between a LEGO Designer's vision and our own vision! Your vignette is the star, not the Bat Plane or Joker's helicopter! The building Joker crashes into and the Gotham Police Force (and their cars) are the bling! You gave a story! That too is vision! I hope you decide to add this to your table!
