Another Sierra model has born. This is Sierra's "Laser" edition, which was introduced in 1984.There's not much to talk about this model,so I hope you like this model and please give me a brief feedback. Thanks for watching and take care!
About this creation
The car,in mystic darkness, only very powerful and bright LED lights are visible. This picture shows, that the car has Lego PF - LED Lights under the bonnet.
The front end corner in daylight. The front end grille is as realistic as possible.I couldn't make it more realistic, because i didn't know how :D
Side view. The shape is abit off the proportions, but i'm quite satisfied with it.
The rear end.I'm not sure if the taillights are in the right size or not,but they can't be that wrong, can they?
Slightly underpowered 2.3 litre Diesel engine, which can produce 49Kw.
Dashboard, with all of those little icons and buttons, which make it quite good looking.
Rear seats, which is not for a bit bigger persons. There's room for only two male mates and maybe for an very skinny ladie i suppose. :D
Red ceiling with overhead lights and sun visors. Not much to describe here...
Ooh,i forgot to metion that the sun visors can be pulled forwards and backwards. Not much to do with these in windy and dark autumn days i think D:
Standard Sierra hatchback has surprisingly large boot for lots of goods and heavy equipment. If there's anything you cant fit into Sierra, you obviously need a lorry instad.
The boot cover rises with the hatch. It covers the boot area,so anyone can't see your cargo and the sun wont do any harm neither.
The boot is so large, that you can easily fit those PF boxes there without problems.
You see, what did i told you...
Door paddings, which now are painted in gray. Not much to talk about here...
Functional keys in the ignition. When the keys have been turned, little magic happens, and front lights begin to shine!
This little picture shows real axle suspensionability.I used stiffer springs, because the car weights quite alot.
There's a black side modlings on sides like real cars have. They are slightly outwards. That will protect doors and their paintwork.
The picture, which was taken from backseat. It gives a feeling, which can be felt only,if you are siting in the back seat of my model.
Windscreen wipers, which are very close to real ones,in my point of view.
Front lights turned on in daylight. They have no use in sunny days.
A 2.3 Sierra? I was hoping for a the Cologne V6 under the bonnet, but no! It's the awful diesel (and I say that as someone who owns a tuned 1.9TDI). This gets an "excellent" purely because this is the most rubbish car recreated in our fave ABS toy. So bad a subject itt's AWESOME!!!
Very realistic everything. The lights are really good, the engine is wonderfully detailed, the dashboard looks like it came out of a fighter jet, and most importantly it can carry 3 battery boxes. That's impressive in and of itself. Properly spiffy work!
Wow, this is absolute cool and full of very nice details. My parents drove a Ford Sierra Hatchback in green metallic. Was a really nice car. Love how you made the typical Dashboard with all these nice details. Great work. Btw, nice idea with the keys :)
