look carefully at the main photo, from all angles... what do you see?
this was built as a small, light, and affordable "on the cheap" gunship based on the civilian V-107. it has new features, such as upgraded turboprop engines, FLIR, a midflight refuelling probe, and multiple other gadgets.
About this creation
weapons include: twin swiveling 23mm rotary cannon capable of 2000 rounds per minute
six pylons capable of 700 pounds of assorted weaponry each, in this case two 24-rocket 2.7 inch rocket pods, two 30mm cannon pods, and two ASRAAM missiles for self defense. it also has a camera in the tail that senses whether there is an enemy on the aircraft's tail. behind the pilot is a small radio jammer. it also has infared heat supressors and stealth coating. (i have not made landing gear, because you can imagine it would look ridiculously long.) the top speed is 340 miles per hour, fully loaded.
I like the tilt rotor design, but from the pictures that you have displayed here it looks a little unbalanced, as if the gun in front would far outweigh the tail surfaces behind the rotors. That could just be due to the perspective of the camera, it is hard to tell. The main picture is just black to me, so I can't respond to it as your commentary suggested. Over all the armaments look cool, independent of their relative size, and the shape is nice.
