Attack on Atlantis (MOC by the Sea Contest)
For years, the people of Atlantis had lived in peace with the creatures of the deep. Little did they know that that peace would soon come to an end...
About this creation

The giant squid had tried to remain peaceful when the Atlantean merpeople. Until that day...

My entry for the MOC by the Sea Contest in Contest Group.

The entire scene.

The front half.

The back half.

Coral, using Max Pointer's technique, and a plant.

Left rockwork and a tentacle of one of the giant squid.

More rockwork.

A cartoonish crab.

Right side, featuring a mermaid being taken by a squid tentacle.

My skeleton design, which I am fairly sure is a new technique. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

The temple.

The fish statue.

One of the pillars.

Above view of the entire scene.

The merpeople.

Detail: 13/25 Your MOC is fairly spread wide which means there is room for more details. Originality: 23/25 You made a MOC that was underwater, and you had an action scene so you stood out here. Presentation: 18/20 You make everything easy to follow, and you added a bit of a story, thank you. Relation to the Ocean: 10/10 It's in the Ocean and it has Merpeople and Squids, how could it not get a 10. Personal Opinion: 16/20 While your MOC is good, I am not much of a fan of loose parts and there needed to be more, but the Minifig Legs add a nive touch for Squid Arms. Yeah, they are always used for things like theme, but it works.
