Rudimentary M1 Chasis. I don't have any track segments or supspension parts, so the suspension is fixed as is the track.
About this creation
The turret turns 360 degrees, as does the commanders cupola. The Commanders hatch, loaders hatch, and drivers hatch open and close.
Drivers hatch slides open and shut reavealing drivers' compartment. The drivers seat can also be raised up and down from an external lever on the right side of tank. Probably would not include this on a production model unless specifically asked for. The hull of the turret also has an actual passagway that allows the driver to crawl back into the turret. This passage way is only accessible when the gun is pointed toward the rear right corner of the tank, just like the real one.
Blow off panels on the rear deck above the ammunition compartments are fully functional. The cross-wind sensor folds down for transport.
The tank turret was made first, and then the studio scene was made as a replica of the actual turret. The cieling of the turrent is easily removed showing the inside compartment. Gun elevates, breech opens and closes (see video), ammunition access door opens and closes (see video), coaxial M-240 machine gun. Gunner station has sights, aiming yoke handle, and balistic computers at the station. Commander has an integrated JSTARS map display and 360 degree rotating cupola with M2 .50 cal remotley operated machine gun. Loader has an M-240 light machine gun.
