So over on Flickr, I'm in the process of a fictional war story between the United States and China. The builds here include dialogue, and detail events leading up to an invasion, with the invasion being the first build in the series, and the rest of the scenes being 'flashbacks' of sorts.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- //SCOPE team one, this is Base One. what's your status? Over.
/This is SCOPE team one. Our op. has been compromised; and we're taking heavy fire. Requesting immediate evac. from site.
//Negative on that team. Your area is too hot. You'll have to relocate for extraction. Are there any casualties to report?
/Yes on that. Driver has been wounded. Where's the pickup site?
// A vehicle convoy will be heading north out of the city, and their window of time to pick you up will be short.
/Copy that. Where do we rendezvous and how much time do we have?
// The convoy will be headed past the downtown courthouse. Get there within an hour to meet up with it. Base One will provide UAV overwatch and give you the shortest possible route. Best of luck to you.
/Got it. Over and out.
"K everyone, listen up. Downtown courthouse, we've got one hour. Base One will route us to the extraction point. You gonna be alright, Davis?"
"Good to hear. Collins! provide suppressing fire with the M27; team, move right and take cover in the alleyway. Got it? "
"Good. Let's do this!"
When: December 12, 2015 (6 months before date of invasion).
Location: White house situation room
-- "Madame President; Cabinet members, good morning to you all. Shall we start?"
- "Morning Mr. secretary. Feel free to start."
-- "Thank you. What you are about to see and hear may very well concern our nation's security; a topic that should not be taken lightly as we all know. In November of 2014, The United States signed off on an agreement with China to start repaying debts at a faster rate, under the stipulation that the funds not be used for militaristic purposes. This is where our problem begins."
- "I take it the image you are showing us is of a military base, is it not?"
-- "You are correct, Madame President. What you see on this screen is a current satellite image of one of China's largest military bases. Over the course of roughly a year, surveillance satellites have seen this base and many others grow in terms of ships, trucks, and other military equipment."
- "So sufficed to say, you believe that China has been using funds to back their war machine."
-- "Correct again, Madame. I also believe that this is a matter that must be discussed with Chinese officials as soon as possible."
- "I understand your concerns on this matter, Mr. Secretary. However, what proof is there that our debt payments are linked to their military budget? Yes, it is slightly suspicious, but I am not willing to take any action on a matter that could turn out to be nothing at all. Especially with the Chinese, considering that we have enough tension with them already."
-- "In regards your question, I'll direct your attention to the documents you each have before you. Outlined in great detail is Chinese fiscal data for this past year. You should be quick to note that shortly after we began payments, military spending went wild, while the funding for all other categories stayed the same."
- "These documents... The amount of detail seems more than anything our own intelligence gathering networks at home could do. Mind telling exactly how you got your hands on these?"
-- "We have... Operatives. Operatives in the field gathering information."
- "Mr. Secretary... If I didn't know any better, I'd say what you have gathered here is the result of espionage. Granted I am correct, do you realize the possible implications here? This could mean a long and drawn out conflict with a nation whose military strength compares to our own. We cannot afford to have another war, let alone have it with China."
-- "Madame President, I am well aware of the possible outcomes. However, our nation cannot simply stand back and let China betray an agreement that took over a year to come to. This is bound to become an issue sooner or later, and when it does, well, there will be hell to pay."
- "So it simply becomes a matter of 'damned if we do, damned if we don't' in regards to this situation."
-- "By the looks of it, yes. yes it does."

-The Americans want answers, President Tsing. They know what we have been doing with their funding, and needless to say, they are not happy about it.
--The Americans are never happy with anything, Minister Cheng, although I do see your point. However, I cannot help but feel they know too much about what we do. Something seems a bit off.
--Last month we held a financial meeting. You were there, correct?
-Indeed I was.
--If you remember, there was a packet of documents outlining details of our expenditures.
-I believe I know where this is going. If I may, are you considering the possibility that the contents of those documents were leaked to the Americans?
--There's a reason why I picked you to be my defense minister, and right there you have yet again proven it was a correct choice. Indeed I do suspicion the contents of those documents -and perhaps the documents themselves- were leaked. That, of course, would mean we have a spy within our midst. One who is high enough in our government to have seen the contents of those documents.
-Shall I run background checks of all who were present at the meeting, Mr. President?
-Yes. If anything 'odd' pops up, do inform me. Also, let this be known to only the two of us. If there is a spy to be concerned with, I do not want him to fly the coup. Understood?
-Understood, Mr. President. I'll keep you informed.

"Timothy Cho. 12 years with the CIA, veteran agent of both Iraq and Afghanistan. In the past 48 hours, we received an urgent message from him saying his OP. has been compromised. Currently the Chinese are hunting him down, and our time to act is drawing short. You'll be going in low profile for this one; we want to avoid international scandal here. Mission objective is to get him back, and get him back alive with little to no shots fired. Last known location has been uploaded to your GPS. Any questions?"
"Good. And one more thing..."
"Good luck, and try not to scratch the paint."
"You got it sir."
"The Final Straw"
When: March 18, 2016 (3 months before date of invasion)
Location: Presidential Office, Beijing
-Seven dead, two in critical, and the package has been lost. Reports are that three men with body armor and automatic weapons ambushed the team, grabbed the agent, then proceeded to take off in a white Range Rover.
--And we have no leads as to where they disappeared off to?
-I am afraid not, Mr. President. Odds are that even if we did find traces of them, they are already long gone. It is also worth mentioning that the Americans have remained completely silent in regards to these recent events.
--They know they have done wrong. No sense in trying to cover it up. They have caused an outrage and a political nightmare, and for that there will be hell to pay. Their arrogance has spurred them on for far too long. It is time that they learned some humility.
When: June (month of invasion)
Location: Undisclosed, presumably somewhere over the pacific
Time: 3am PST
For far too long your arrogance has propelled you forward. You've stuck your noses into businesses where it does not belong, all under the guise of safety and security for the world. And yet, you fail to realize your actions incite the very things you say you try to prevent.
You have disrupted our government, murdered our people, and broken our trust. Our nation is every bit as strong as yours, and we will not stand for such injustices. We will not let you sit back and act innocent while you continue to undermine the bonds that hold nations together. Let this be your death note, America. When you wake up in the morning, you will have found your walls smashed and your doors unhinged. All you once thought was safe will have turned out to be just mere illusions brought forth by your arrogance. Your day of reckoning has come. May the powers above have mercy on your souls.
So there you have it, the road to war. Just thought it would be nice to see all the photos splayed out in a single post, which is what Mocpages is best for, really.
