Forced Perspective - Mini Set 4939-1
A forced-perspective car
About this creation
This is a little attempt at forced perspective with a vehicle. Actually, this vehicle, to be precise. It's not the best, or at least the forced perspective is not as dramatic as I wanted it to be.

This picture clearly shows the width change from 8 in the front and 4 in the back.

A side view of the car. As you can see from this view, the wheels at the back are smaller than those at the front.

This is the baseplate without the car. As you can see, I used those angle plates to make the road become smaller from front to back.

The back of the car.

The brick I used to attached the car to the baseplate. It needed a little give, so a 2x2 brick didn't cut it. This hinge was perfect.

The overhang.

Not the best, but it was hard with limited yellow bricks (basically an Agents set or two, the crane from that old A-Wing set, and the original Creator set this model is based off of.

Very nice entry Patrick. Build: 3.5/5 I too think that you should have more detail. Use of forced perspective: 1.5/5 I could barely notice the FP so I suggest in later rounds that you make the FP a bit more drastic. Personal opinion: 4/5 I love the car. Use of space: 1/5 You filled your space only with the car... Originality: 5/5 Never seen FP used on a car before so this tipped the scales for me. 15/25 Good score Patrick.

Thanks for entering Patrick! 3/5 for build, it could have had some detail. 2/5 for use of FP, not much here and you cannot really tell that it is used at all. 3/5 for personal opinion, I like cars and this is a cool one. 2/5 for use of space, you used it up but not very efficiently.. A few buildings (even just facades) would have helped a lot. 4/5 for originality. I have not seen anything like this before I think so good job on that. 14/25 is your total from me. Timothy will judge you soon I think.
