Okay, at first glance you would say, 'okay, this doesn't look any different than the set i forked out a bunch of cash for', and I would say, 'thank you!' because I didn't want it to be noticeable at first glance.
Upon close inspection you notice that the front dome now has a hinge at the bottom. Anyone out there that may be a super-fan of this set will notice that the main body is also 1/3 brick higher. pretty much the only outer modification that was needed.
With the front dome now open, you can see that there is definitely something inside there! the front dome hinge is a little flimsy, however, this was the best hinge setup that changed the appearance the least, and utilized most of the existing set.
Here are some closer-up views that show in a little more detail how the launcher is mounted into the ATT. I had been thinking about including one of these launchers in this particular set for a while. The cannons mounted on the sides of the tank use some technic-hole bricks, and the launcher fit seamlessly right in there. It went in so well, i wondered if they ever meant to do this in the actual set!
These last few pics are to show how the little vehicle that the ATT pilot drives is still able to fit down inside the machine. However some small modifications are needed to make room for the launching trigger at the rear of the tank. Other than the few changes i have shown, this set it mostly the same, but now it shoots missiles!
