These are some details of a bigger project I am working on. Not THAT big - in the eyes of a petrolhead anything that is too big to have four wheels is big ;-) Definitely out of my comfort zone ... The Cars furniture (chairs and table) are already known, I guess (see http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/314805). Then there is a bar with some Lightning McQueen tiles and a rather simple barstool. The Wurlitzer refers to several known designs, but because of the upside down construction of the whole front it might be considered as new. At last two gas pumps. The left one rather looks like there is already such a design but I didn't find a straight reference. More to come, thanks for looking.
Thanks guys! @SF: Glad you like the Wurlitzer most - it's my favourite, too. @Nils: Thanks buddy! Oh well, it's definitely checkered ... Quite difficult not to repeat the already existing stuff. Anyway the cars need some surrounding and the figs get bored driving around all the time. And hungry. And thirsty. @Tom: Thanks! Glad you like the Wurlitzer and the petrol pump. Well, there need to be at least two different places to put them ;-) @Sven: Thanks a lot pal. Yeah, but what you don't see is what time it takes to design all that tiny stuff ... Is there a stove? No, you have to build one. Is there a napkin dispenser? No, you have to build one. Is there a fridge? No ... er, well, take that nice fridge from the Fire Brigade ;-) @Joonmin: Wanna buy an L? ;-) @Banjax: Thanks a lot!
Wow, that's a cool start, my friend! I have an idea what you are going to do and I absolutely love the idea :-)) I'm getting a "vision" of checkered tiles on a floor... Well done, so far, can't wai to see it finished! :-))
Oh, i nearly missed your newest creation. Well, you said it's out of your comfort zone. I can't believe that this is out of your comfort zone because all these little builds are really cool and great designed. Especially the wurlitzer and the bar are my favorites of this nice pieces. Can't wait to the the finished building. I think it would be a great one!
Thanks guys! @Oran: Fits some figs, openable doors, detachable roof - the usual stuff, one could think, but it doesn't move. So maybe you're right ;-) @Henrik, Starscream, Senator: Thanks! @Aaden: Same for me ;-) @David: Thank you! @Joe: At least you can find out where you're not so talented. Anyway building cars is a nice thing ;-) @Frank: Sorry, no more pics at the moment ... Maybe I'll add a photo of the way the jukebox is done.
You're welcome - would be glad to see some of this stuff within Cybercity.
this is great! I love props, could you add more pics, close ups? just one pic is not enough for these beauties, I ve made 4 street vending machines, and want to post an ALTA-5 prop post on how to make a cheap good looking town, I m sure to study those, thanks, I ll credit you in my stories for the designs I ll borrow!
