6745 Sabre
I based this alternate of Lego Set 6745 on the F-86 Sabre. Because the engine intake is so big, and the inside of it didn't look so good, I used the red dome brick to make it look better. I'm pretty pleased with this creation, and it was built pretty quickly. Enjoy it! :-)

I have to recognize that you're right and that Peeron is useful. I was disappointed because I lost a 1x1x2 roof tile and I only have 1 left (I got this set for years ago...). For the 1x1 black tiles, it's hard to see it on the pictures but since you told me it I see it too... And don't worry: even if I was disappointed, I really enjoy this model and hope that you understand that there's nothing worse than can't build a set because of missing pieces... I will follow your advice and I will use Peeron. I also noticed that if you remove the red nose and that sou turn the white turbine 90 up, you could nearly post it as a MiG 17;) Well have a great day too:-)

Quoting Los Hateng I loved it,... until I tried to build it. You added some pieces that are not in the 6745 set. For example, you add in the rudder two 1x1 black plates and a 1x1x2 black roof tile. I am very disappointed...
Dear Lois, Thank you for your comment. All pieces used are in the set. Let me explain. The 1x1 black plates you refer to, are not actually 1x1 black plates, they are 1x1 black tiles, which are in the set. The 2 1x1x2 black roof tiles, are also in the set. One of them is used in the main model, and the other one is an extra piece in the set. There are usually several extra pieces in Lego sets. Click on the link below for a full inventory of this set by Peeron. http://www.peeron.com/inv/sets/6745-1 I hope this will put you in a better mood. :-) You can use Peeron in the future, when you're not sure about what's in a set and what's not. Have a great day, and keep on building!

Wonderful job! Brings back fond memories, as the F86 was my favorite plane when I was a kid.

Hi! I have been watching your MOCs from various Creator sets, and I think this Little Sabre model is the best. It is easy recognizeable, excellent! The discipline of MOCing from a specific set is very challenging and fun.

Quoting Nathanael Kuipers Nice to see an alternate of an older Creator set. This plane looks pretty cool and a bit cartoonish, with proportions slightly out of scale. I like it though! Perhaps your pictures are slightly overexposed this time; they seem to be a bit too bright...
Yeah, it was all I could do for the length without compromising the colour scheme. And yes, the pictures could be a bit less bright. I'm still learning :-) Thanks for commenting!
