Getting a Christmas family photo is a tradition for many families. So here is a studio where Lego people can have a photo taken!
About this creation
This is similar to the Christmas Family Photo MOC, but that one was for a Christmas contest that had a size limit. This is the "full version."
An overhead view. You can see the scenery, the flash, the camera, the backdrop, and the waiting area.
View from the back of the flash. Yes, that string is official Lego.
View from the front of the flash.
Here you can see the camera, computer screen, and the camera man. I thought it would be cool if I had Lego string go from the flash and the camera into the computer.
The computer area. I really like how the computer mouse turned out! There's a keyboard, clock, and a cup of coffee as well!
Waiting area with opening door.
The backdrop. This was pretty cool to build because it looks like a mountain in the background, along with some far-back and close trees. The tree all the way on the right is pretty cool because the studio only needs part of a tree that looks real!
The studio without minifigures. I like the smooth tiles everywhere.
That's all folks! Thanks for looking. Here is my Sig Fig semi-casual.
Don't forget to rate and comment! God bless, Merry Christmas!
You have some real talent here, it just needs to be honed a bit. Here is what I suggest you do to improve this MOC; Add a square border around it all, in the gaps from the square add extra flooring around the set and such, and then add extra little details to the extra floor space. Those few additions will put this over the top. --John
This is great! I saw the first version for the other contest, so to see it completed is awesome! I love all of the little details that you put in there. And yes, the computer mouse did turn out great. So many details to comment on! The usage of string is nifty. Well, the whole studio part and waiting area is just awesome. It all looks very complete now. Great job!
